Nice hotel on the river front but not as nice as it used to be, the price was affordable in comparison to other stays downtown, the valet parking was $50.00. The young men out front checking our bags and doing valet were super nice. Your key gets you up the elevator so that is an added security feature. Most of the staff was pleasant while others barely spoke. After a long day walking and sweating and wanting to get back and get a hot shower, we found we had no washcloths in our room and had to call down for those and wait for them to be brought up. I'm not sure how something that important could be overlooked by the cleaning staff, I thought they had a checklist they used when cleaning the rooms. Also, the shower door would not close properly so we had to dry water off the floor after showering. The entire bathroom could have been cleaner. The bed was hard and uncomfortable to me but the sheets were soft and the pillows were nice. I know the hotel cant control everything but there was two men hanging out where the elevator took you down to River Street asking for money, that can be scary for women alone so perhaps staff or security in that area would be a deterent.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. The location is excellent, the property was clean, and the river view was beautiful. We also appreciated how quiet the hotel was in the evenings, along with the very comfortable beds and strong AC. The complimentary coffee and water downstairs were a nice touch, and the staff was friendly throughout our stay. There were just a few areas where communication and maintenance could be improved. It wasn’t very clear what amenities were included with our stay — for example, we only later found out about the $5 daily market credit. We also noticed that some guests had the breakfast buffet included, while others did not, and the buffet itself seemed a bit overpriced. Housekeeping was inconsistent one day and did not arrive until around 5–6 PM, and our room was not restocked with coffee or cups afterward. Our bathroom in Room 220 also had some visible water damage that could use repair. Additionally, the escalator seemed to work intermittently during our visit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the comfort and location of the hotel. We just wanted to share a few small improvements that could make the guest experience even better.

Absolutely great location! It's an easy free jump over the convention center. Lots of places to walk to. They have an elevator that takes you down to the Riverwalk. The restaurant overlooks the Riverwalk. Bring flip flops to wear in the room and shower. The floors and carpet are filthy. Good luck with the thermostat I was ready to rip it off the wall. The service at the restaurant was great. The food was good. A little pricey tho. A short walk into the city has plenty of food options. Excellent location.
