Location, Location, location! This was a perfect spot for exploring the city. Everything is walkable and convenient. Staff is sweet and the rooftop lounge is perfect way to end the day with a glass of wine.

If you are looking for a great practical, comfortable venue which is walking distance to most everything, this is the place. If you are looking for a grand entrance to the Hilton, not. We had a great stay here. The lobby is one of the smallest you will ever see, but then again, I'm not planning on hanging out at the lobby. We arrived a bit early and they were gracious enough to set us up in a room, which was perfect and clean. We stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bath room with a full kitchen. Both bathrooms were nice in size designed like a little spa. Now, I always find it baffling that 2 out of 3 stays anywhere, they only provide one hook on the wall to hang up your wet towel, and this was one of those places. I can't believe that most places don't have enough on their budget to hang at least two. The room's design was slick, appropriate for the area's ambiance and functional. There was some kind of quirkiness with the A/C thermostat that wouldn't allow you to adjust it in a backward way. Strangely it was always set at 70 degrees, nice for sleeping but a bit too cold for during the day. Good thing we were mostly out and about during the day. If you find the daily resort parking a bit too high like we did, there are several public parking lots close by and especially one in particular, under ground and accessible just two doors away from the entrance of the resort. Everything from restaurants, to museums, to transportation, to their famous squares/parks is near the resort within comfortable walking distance. This was actually our second time staying here and we would gladly look forward to it again.

If you would like a location in the historic district of Savannah, you'll like this. You get a room and that's it. It's a city "resort" so no "extras." Parking is $24 a day (self-park) or $40 valet.
