Historic Savannah District has so many old buildings as restaurants and Fiddler’s Crab House is one of the coolest ones. Sitting right on the old cobblestones, a cotton warehouse in the 1800’s now a perfect place to enjoy a meal. Stopping in for a mid day meal with a lovely view of the river. A small wait to get seated due to no hostess around but eventually found our way to a table. I really liked the server. Attentive, filled water glasses promptly and explained the specials with a fun flare. The house garden salad was very fresh with all the right toppings. However the Oysters Savannah (Six house oysters on the half shell topped with garlic, butter and parmesan cheese) fell short. They came out cold, which took a lot of the flavor out of them. The only other thing ordered was the salad, so I’m not sure why they were sitting out cooling?
Jun 11, 2026 · Google ReviewHad an overall good experience at Fiddler’s Crab House & Oyster Bar. The host was very accommodating, which helped us get seated quickly. Our server, Kimber, was pleasant and attentive throughout our visit. Managers David and Brooke were also helpful in getting a small issue corrected, which we appreciated. We kept our meal simple with soup and salad, along with oyster Rockefeller as an appetizer, and the food was good. A decent stop with solid service👍🏾😊.
May 3, 2026 · Google ReviewMandi was an amazing waitress! i ate alone for dinner on the upstairs patio and she was so sweet and attentive. Mahi tacos were delish and cannot go wrong with a cold beer!! great view of river street, and they have some fans outside that help with summer heat.
Jun 23, 2026 · Google ReviewMy sister and I were visiting Savannah for my bday. We had stumbled across this place due to my sister wanting clam chowder. My sister has a strong dislike for onions which there is some in the crab dip, she didn’t taste the onion which is a huge plus and it had great flavor! The drinks were great as well. The balcony view GORGEOUS! The balcony seats were mildly uncomfortable. Over all such a great and delicious experience. 10/10 recommend going back.
May 17, 2026 · Google ReviewGreat food and service. It was a busy night downtown as many people were out the night before St. Patrick's Day. We had planned to eat at another restaurant, but they were not seating anyone for dinner and only offering a takeout menu. We were able to get seated quickly and had an enjoyable seafood dinner while visiting Savannah.
