If you’re looking for a restaurant that captures the personality of Savannah while offering food that goes well beyond the typical brunch menu, Collins Quarter at Forsyth is an absolute must. This was easily one of the most memorable meals of our time in Savannah. The shrimp and grits were the standout for me. This dish was exceptional; the shrimp were tender and flavorful, the grits were creamy and perfectly prepared, and the combination of flavors came together beautifully. There was a wonderful savory depth to the dish that made every bite better than the last. As someone who takes Southern food seriously, I can say these were some seriously impressive shrimp and grits. The chicken shawarma was another highlight. The chicken was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned, and the combination of spices and accompaniments gave the dish a fantastic Mediterranean-inspired character. It was a great example of what makes Collins Quarter so interesting - taking familiar ingredients and turning them into something distinctive and memorable. Of course, the food is only part of the experience. The location at Forsyth Park is phenomenal. Being able to enjoy a great meal surrounded by the beauty and atmosphere of one of Savannah’s most iconic parks makes the experience feel uniquely Savannah. The outdoor setting, greenery, and relaxed energy make it an especially enjoyable place to sit back and take your time. The service was also excellent. Our experience was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the entire meal feel effortless. That combination of quality food, hospitality, and atmosphere is exactly what I look for when deciding whether a restaurant deserves five stars. Collins Quarter also deserves credit for having a menu that feels creative without losing its Southern roots. You can come here expecting classic brunch favorites, but there are enough global influences and unexpected combinations to make the menu genuinely exciting. I think that balance is part of what has made this restaurant such a popular Savannah destination. The shrimp and grits alone are worth the visit, but the chicken shawarma, beautiful Forsyth Park setting, and outstanding hospitality make Collins Quarter a complete dining experience. If you're visiting Savannah, put this one on your list. I would absolutely come back, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who appreciates excellent food and a memorable Southern dining experience.
Aug 8, 2026 · Google ReviewVisited today with my girlfriends and we had the chicken and waffles, crab cakes and the shrimp and grits which were the overall win! Oh and the order yourself a Hibiscus Lime cooler to go! My girlfriend ordered some shrimp and grits to go, they’re that delicious! Stevie our server was great, he offered suggestions and his customers service was fantastic! Loved the decor and the fact you had a choice to sit inside or outside, posh but quaint. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed.
Jul 13, 2026 · Google ReviewHighly recommend! We had the Strawberry Dubai French Toast. It was delicious. And our server Stevie was the best!!! We ate outside and the view of Forsyth Square vegetation was beautiful.
May 26, 2026 · Google ReviewCame by for brunch after a walk around Forsyth park. Got the breakfast sandwich which tasted good. The outdoor dining is so relaxing with all the shade from the trees surrounding the area. The service was great, too. 🌳
Jul 21, 2026 · Google ReviewWas absolutely done for once they added if I wanted to add a shot to my mimosa. Mimosas 10/10 experience. However, I am always shocked how this restaurant continuously manages to have the longest wait time to get in out of all the brunch places in Savannah. The one in the park definitely has more appeal since it is the only restaurant in Forsyth and the vibes are very nice and relaxed but overall the food feels very underwhelming. The French toast looked beautiful but tasted below average showing they are focusing more on aesthetic than taste. If that’s your preference then you might consider waiting 2 hours, otherwise there are much better brunch spots for much cheaper and no wait.
