This was our 5th time at the Gastonian. It’s a charming B&B. We haven’t been in 2 years and were very disappointed that the morning breakfast service had turned into having to eat a one choice meal in the parlor. The highlight of our stays has been the breakfast choosing and the ability to have it served in room. We actually looked forward every time to sitting on the balcony in our robes and enjoying the scenery as we ate breakfast that had options. As much as we love the facility (Engaged and married at the Gastonian), we’d Likely choose and alternate destination in town that provided that service going forward. Beautiful venue for weddings, staff is friendly. Bring back the old breakfast service. It is important to return customers.
Aug 5, 2026 · Google ReviewWe had a wonderful stay at The Gastonian. The staff were absolutely wonderful — Kayleigh and Brian in particular went above and beyond, always warm, accommodating, and quick to respond to anything we needed.||As someone with dietary restrictions, I was genuinely impressed by the chef — they made sure I had thoughtful vegan options every single day, from breakfast to the evening hors d’oeuvres to dessert. It’s rare to feel that well taken care of.||The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn’t be beat — walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do in the historic district. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, historic stay with genuinely excellent service.||We’ll definitely be back!
Jul 29, 2026 · Google ReviewOur stay at the Gastonian was the best experience we have had in years. Our room, the Casmir Pulaski room, was spacious, light filled, and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful- a choice of fruit, yogurt, pastry, and a hot option made fresh if you want it. The staff were all kind and helpful. We are planning to stay again the next time we head to Savannah.

Jul 9, 2026 · Google ReviewThe Gastonian was very clean and Joshua was a wonderful host. One thing to keep in mind is that this is very much an old home. Old homes tend to have a quirkiness to them. The quirkiness to the room we got was the toilet was completely separate closet from the bathroom. This might not be the case for every room, and it’s certainly not a complaint; the quirkiness adds to the charm. They have a wonderful outdoor seating area for reading or lounging. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the inn to the River and market, so keep that in mind. There is an overflow parking near the inn- we were able to utilize that and it felt safe. We encountered a reoccurring patron— which says a lot! The dessert we got that night and the French Toast breakfast the following morning were delicious.
Jul 7, 2026 · Google ReviewOur first stay in Savannah went amazing thanks to the staff at The Gastonian. We booked the Cottage House, but our Innkeeper, Milan informed us that the Cottage was a little warmer than the other accommodations, so she upgraded us to the Honeymoon Suite, with a complimentary bottle of Champagne waiting on us to celebrate my wife's 9 year anniversary of beating Cancer. The room was amazing. Great view of the street, a jacuzzi tub, and high level elegant finishes throughout. As for the service, we were treated to a Hors d'oeuvre spread before we went to dinner with Wine. While we didn't care for them, it didn't dampen the experience. We came back from dinner for Dessert hour, and the Pecan Pie Bars were great, and we had lively conversation with other patrons. For breakfast, Chef Sabor cooked up a great meal of French Toast with Peach Compote and Bacon, with other choices of a yogurt bar, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and pastries. We had plans to grab breakfast on the way out, but had no need. When you look at the price, location, and service, it's hard to beat the Gastonian, and look forward to staying again.
