We stayed at the Thomas Weihs Haus in March as part of an anniversary trip. The house was amazing- a ton of history and impeccably appointed. Location was fantastic and was a welcome spot to come through after a day exploring the city. Would highly recommend the property. Michael’s breakfasts were excellent and his recommendations for restaurants an activities were top notch! He was also extremely accommodating for when we had to rent a mobility scooter for the day in terms of storing it on the property. If I were to have only one quibble is that there did seem to be a lot of rules printed around the room and property. They were basically of the same flavor (respect the property) and were easy enough to follow. I would recommend they relax the towel policy a little.

My wife and I really enjoyed Thomas Weihs Haus. The B&B is in a beautiful historic home at an excellent location. The room was spacious and well appointed. The included breakfast was excellent and there were 3 options, served in a beautiful setting. Michael (one of the owners) is very friendly. He provided excellent dinner and sightseeing recommendations before and during the stay. There was plenty of parking and a very close Kroger if one needed snacks, etc. We highly enjoyed our stay and recommend Thomas Weihs Haus.

What a gem of a B&B! Michael and Gerald have created a beautiful and comfortable space to enjoy while you visit Savannah. Michael served incredible breakfasts that we were able to enjoy on the spacious porch. Our room was well appointed with beautiful furnishings and a comfortable bed. Rain shower in the bathroom was large and had all the necessities. Michael had wonderful ideas of off the beaten path things to do that complimented our other plans. Location is great! Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to many locations and also close to the free Dot bus. I would highly recommend staying at the Thomas Weiss Haus.

The warmth and hospitality of the host, Michael, made us feel right at home the moment we walked through the door. He was an abundant source of knowledge about the area and was generous with his excellent recommendations for dining and activities. Our room was tastefully decorated with a perfect blend of vintage elegance and modern comfort, featuring a plush bed that ensured a restful night's sleep after several hours of walking and touring the city each day. The attached bathroom was very spacious. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, with fresh ingredients sourced locally, served elegantly on fine china. The location is unbeatable, nestled in a picturesque neighborhood just a short stroll from Forsyth Park and the historic district. This made exploring the charming streets and savoring the rich history of Savannah a breeze. Whether you're a solo traveler looking for a cozy retreat or a couple seeking a romantic getaway, the Thomas Weihs Haus is an exceptional choice. We highly recommend this little gem!

My husband and I stayed at Thomas Weihs Haus for 3 nights. We were looking for a quiet place where we can work when not touring, within walking distance of great restaurants, and a nice neighborhood where we can walk around and enjoy the beautiful Savannah. Well, we found it all! The house is beautiful! You can feel the love and dedication that Michael and Gerald have put into every corner when renovating. The house has a calm and happy energy. The rooms keep the magnificent Victorian architecture and style, but also offer the comfort and details of a luxury boutique hotel. They give a 5 stars customer service that starts before your arrival. They sent us restaurant recommendations in advance and Michael booked the restaurant for us because we could not find open tables online. During our stay, they were attentive to our needs and gave us great ideas for our days, and the two-course European-style breakfast on the porch with a view of their well-cared-for garden was just an additional treat. We loved our stay here and we will undoubtedly come again!
