Excellent stay for a very Savannah experience. Beautiful front porch to ease into the day with a cup of coffee and settle in for a nightcap each evening. Fabulous for walking or driving. One reserved spot and plenty of street parking. Beautiful high ceilings with glorious natural light streaming in through the large windows. This property may have one of the most beautiful wrought iron fences I've ever seen that encapsulates a large outdoor space. I highly recommend the Button Suite. It was a perfect space for my friend and me. We each had our own room where we found such needed rest. My only complaint is that we did not stay longer. If visiting Savannah again, this will be the only place I want to stay. (I did contact management about early check-in, and the young man who helped me could not have been more courteous—well done!)

Beautiful historic area, closest to Forsyth Park (2 or 3 blocks). Although I enjoyed it, you will have to walk to restaraunts and to the downtown area. We took an Uber a couple of times ($10 to $12). We stayed in the Cotton Suite. Cozy, clean and beautifully restored. Pete, the owner, was so friendly and eager to help make our stay comfortable. Keep in mind, there is one bed. I think we assumed the couch was a pull out,(it was not, but that was our mistake. Another thing to note is the steep narrow stairs. I'm sure they offer accomidations on the ground floor of either home if you are unable to climb stairs. I would love to stay again! It was wonderful!

My husband and I stayed here three nights for our 20th anniversary. The good: the location was just a couple of blocks from Forsyth Park and withing walking distance to restaurants and even to The Riverwalk if you wanted to walk that far (a mile or so). The room was very clean and the mattress was amazingly comfortable. The bathroom was also large and very clean with soft TP! The courtyard was cute and a nice place sit outside in the evening. The not-so-good: I booked a specific room by name through Hotels.com. I did not get that room but the one we did get was comparable and was very similar so no problem. This place advertised water and coffee in the room, and wine (upon request). We were told no wine. (No biggie, we got our own, but false advertising on the website.) All the coffee cups supplied were all dirty, one even with old water in it with a plastic cup on top. I texted Pete asking for wine glasses which he said he'd get for us but they never came. The mini half-n-halfs in the small frig curdled my coffee. The "guest common room" in the attic was obviously used a playroom for the owners' kids with toys and shoes laying all around. The owner, Pete, never greeted us or asked if we needed anything during our 3 day stay. We happened to run into his wife and 2 boys a couple of times who were all polite and friendly, but kept to themselves. We felt very "on our own" and ignored. Which is fine if that's what you are looking for.... a very nice room and bathroom and a comfortable mattress, with a mini frig, in a good location, but zero hospitality.

Peter was a gem and I loved the location which feels slightly away from the buzz of tourism but close enough to walk everywhere you want. I stayed in the Henry suite which felt so spacious. I highly recommend it if you’re interested in also being in a place that feels authentic to the historical architecture of Savannah.
