This is a perfect bed and breakfast. They offer a great breakfast in the mornings. It's not too big so plan on an early lunch if you're a big eater but very tasty. In the afternoons they have wine and light fare - pasta salad, chips and dip, hummus etc. They have desserts at night. The location is perfect with free street parking. The only negatives were the entry steps are steep so getting luggage inside may be difficult. They may have another way but we didn't ask. This is just something to consider before booking. The other negative was the Monterey room air conditioner is right beside the bed so it is very cold at night.

Jul 26, 2026 · Google ReviewIt was a solo trip for six nights at the Forsyth Park Inn. My stay was absolutely wonderful . Duane the manager was amazing . He looked out for me like a big brother . I felt like family staying at the Forsyth Park Inn . The last day of my stay Duane engineered a memory building day that I will never forget . I seen the two things on my bucket list that I didn’t think I could accomplish but he made them happen . I will never forget my stay here . I hope to be back sooner rather than later . This Canadian girl will be forever one memory away from Savannah
Jul 22, 2026 · Google ReviewIt was a solo trip . I stayed for six nights . I have never stayed at a hotel , bed and breakfast etc like The Forsyth before . It was so warm and comfortable. I was treated like family . Being on my own I felt very well looked after . I stayed in The Pulaski room . It was everything I had hoped and more . Being from Canada I wanted and authentic southern home to stay in . I got just that it was beautiful . Duane and all his staff were wonderful. I can’t wait to comeback . Maybe Christmas I hear it beautiful .
Jul 22, 2026 · Google ReviewForsyth Park Inn was excellent from start to finish. The private porch was the standout feature. We spent our evenings sitting out there overlooking Forsyth Park, and we even shared a few bottles of wine out there. It's a rare thing to get that kind of view and quiet right in the middle of the historic district. The property itself has real character. The upstairs doors and ceilings are massive, so every room feels grand. The antiques throughout the inn add to that sense of stepping into another era. We stayed in the Chatham room, a garden level room with two queen four-poster beds and a separate seating area. We also loved that the room has two entrances, which gave us more flexibility coming and going without disturbing anyone. Breakfast was outstanding and Dwayne deserves a special shout out. He genuinely wanted to make sure we were fed and taken care of, and he was so personable every morning. We didn't make it to the evening happy hour with the wine and light bites, but we took full advantage of the desserts left out each night. A couple of practical notes - parking is street parking only, but we didn't have any issues finding a spot. We also didn't see an elevator anywhere on the property, so if accessibility is a concern, plan on taking stairs since we couldn't confirm any ADA accommodations during our stay. Overall, we'd go back in a heartbeat.
Jul 21, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is our second time in the Inn and it had become our home away from home in Savannah. The staff had a familial vibe and always has time to chat while working. A fine breakfast is enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the park and of course Aperitifs and sweets in the evening. The rooms are Elegent and comfortable, with the occasional old house foible, which is quickly attended to. Location is ideal. A cozy and satisfying home.
Jul 18, 2026 · Google Reviewvery special place. beautiful historic building, helpful staff, drinks, vintage furniture. all right across from a stunning park
Jul 14, 2026 · Google ReviewForsyth Park Inn is a fantastic bed and breakfast AND wedding venue. My husband and I booked this venue for our elopement in June and it was a magical experience. Dwayne and Bobbie Jo's hospitality made for a fantastic trip to Savannah. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt celebrated and supported with whatever we might have needed. The Lafayette/bridal suite was spacious and roomy, a great place to rest after wedding festivities. The breakfast was phenomenal each morning. The wedding itself was breathtaking. Bobbie Jo and her team handle everything to help make the day as stress-free as possible- cake, florals, minister, decor, rehearsal plan, keeping everyone on schedule, fluffing trains and fixing veils and bustles. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding or a romantic getaway!
Jul 11, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is a gem! Very friendly service, and the rooms are nicely appointed. The food is amazing and the social hour and dessert are a very nice touch. I can't say enough how friendly and helpful everyone is who works there.
