A group of us sat outside for dinner with Morgan as our server on Saturday, 5-September. The food was good and Morgan was friendly and fast. She even adjusted the TVs to show specific games for our group without interfering with other tables' requests. The only snafu we had was her mixing some of our bills up, which we figured out internally and was fine...mistakes happen and she was very pleasant. We paid out with Morgan because her shift was over so we moved inside to the bar to continue watching the games and having more drinks. This is when our service experience drastically changed for the worst. In short, the girl who tended the bar this evening has no business in a customer facing position. She made good drinks that Morgan recommended, but the permanent scowl she wore, unwillingness to even pretend to be anything but threatening (yes, she was a little scary), reciprocate any friendly banter or even acknowledge a customer's order, request or "thank you", gives the establishment a very bad look. One of our friends was sitting at the bar an hour prior to the rest of our group moving inside, and he and the couple that he met and was sitting with confirmed the same attitude and behavior of the bartender. We met another group of 4 people, who have been frequenting the bar throughout the week also described the same experience with the same bartender from a previous visit as well. Other than that, our experience was nice but as someone who appreciates a friendly bartender, if we see her tending we'll keep walking or at least ask to be seated at a table. It's a shame that a good part of the evening was spent confirming the bad attitude of probably the most important customer facing employee with other friendly customers of an otherwise well run establishment. For management, please address what appears to be a consistent issue, as it would help keep your bar full of repeat customers.

Yes I know the name says burgers but we tried everything but! The service was fantastic - Kasey - was friendly and very attentive. The food was really good. I had the chicken nachos. We could have shared as more than plenty as I ate as an entree. My fiancé had the quesadillas and friends had other things but everyone was extremely satisfied. Will definitely revisit - so when y’all opening one in Raleigh?!?

Great burger spot for lunch. We got alligator bites appetizer. Build your own turkey burger & smash burger. Lots of different proteins to choose from, then add all you extra toppings and condiments. Served with fries or substitutions for an extra fee. Delicious food great, atmosphere, great service. Dine in or outside on the patio or at the bar. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. 2 locations one on Broughton street & the other a short walk from river street(the one we chose.)
