The park was very large, well kept, and in a great location. The restrooms were really clean and smelled like bleach.
Aug 10, 2026 · Google ReviewNice safe fun place to let the kids unwind or if u just want to let your dog run and play in the dog park
Aug 6, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is an awesome place to bring your dog. The park has a really nice setup with plenty of space, comfortable benches, agility equipment, watering stations, and a separate area for smaller dogs. It feels thoughtfully designed for both dogs and owners, which makes it easy to relax while your dog gets some exercise and enrichment. The agility features are a great bonus, especially if you want to do more than just let your dog run around. The benches are convenient, the water access is a big plus, and having a dedicated small-dog section makes the park feel safer and more welcoming for different dogs and owners. Overall, it’s a great dog-friendly spot and definitely worth visiting regularly.

May 28, 2026 · Google ReviewThis pristine four-acre recreational space and educational historic site was dedicated in 1982 to honor the courage and resilience of Mother Mathilda Beasley to ensure her legacy as Georgia’s first Black Roman Catholic nun and a champion for the marginalized would never be forgotten. Mother Beasley's actual historic cottage (relocated from Price Street in 2014) is it's centerpiece, and the park grounds feature a large baseball/softball diamond with bleachers, an open multi-purpose athletic field for soccer or football, and a multi-purpose paved walking track that outlines the perimeter, two distinct children's playground areas equipped with modern play structures built over soft, bouncy safety turf. There is a decked pavilion overlooking the playground and ball field, uniquely designed to reflect the aesthetic of Savannah's former passenger railroad stations. The Dog Park, opened in 2008, is a popular, fully fenced-in off-leash dog exercise area. It features water access, a shelter with picnic tables, and separate spaces for large and small dogs.
