The history lesson is priceless. Several exhibits depicting blacks as part of the history of Savannah.
Sep 29, 2026 · Google ReviewThe museum was phenomenal. Gina, our guide, was EXCELLENT! The museum seems a bit small when you first enter but don't let that fool you. It was 3 floors of awesomeness.

Aug 6, 2026 · Google ReviewThis museum is very impressive in telling the story of the Civil Rights era in Savannah. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable in answering the questions that were asked. Only setback for me was, there was not enough time to read about the many exhibits that were on display.
Aug 2, 2026 · Google ReviewI visited this museum with my mom today. What an incredible experience! We learned so much from our tour guide, Gina. We really enjoyed learning about how Savannah was specifically involved in the Civil Rights Movement, peaceful protesting and the impact it had both locally and nationally. We will definitely return to this museum again whenever we visit Savannah next.
