As a current northern/past southerner, I really wanted some iconic southern cuisine during my stay in Savannah. We sat at the bar as we normally prefer that, and ordered some drinks, not sure what they were but they were delicious. I ordered the Bowl O Soul, and it was 10/10 incredible. Super tasty and had a mix of everything I missed from the south. Then we ordered the peach cobbler. Holy mother of pies it was so delicious. If you’ve never had peach cobbler, go here and get it. But know, that you’ll never find better peach cobbler anywhere else, ever again.

If you’re in Savannah, you have to hit up the Crystal Beer Parlor. The vibe is so much fun, and you can really feel the history in the place. The service was quick and friendly, which is always a win. As for the food, everything was delicious, but a couple of things really blew us away. The onion rings are beyond good, but you absolutely cannot leave without trying the peach cobbler. It is, without a doubt, the best we have ever tasted!

Very cool spot in Savannah. It is supposedly the oldest restaurant in the city. Cheeseburger is excellent. Chili too. Deserts are so good, like the oeach cobbler and fried pound cake. I can never decide, so I usually just order them all.

Visiting from the Midwest and had to stop here based on the reviews and long history. I was pleasantly surprised by the 10/10 cheeseburger. Great vibes and service. They had THC drinks but I didn't know that before I ordered a 5 Oz local stout beer for myself. It would for sure come back here for another burger!

On Sundays they offer Country Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. The white gravy is so good. It's very hearty and full of flavor. I like that the country fried steak is in 2 semi thin layers with a crispy crunch. I will definitely be back. My boyfriend had the hamburger steak with onions and gravy, it was really great too. You should definitely try it.
