Nice place the breakfast was incredible!!!!! Stayed in the lee room which was nice but the bathroom is kinda small really narrow wouldn't recommend for bigger people the head board on the bed was loose needs to be tightened up has a great view of jones street

The location of the Eliza Thompson House is perfect for your visit to Savannah! It is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to any attraction you wish to see. I especially enjoyed the breakfast in the courtyard and visiting with other guests during happy hour in the parlor. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Such a wonderful stay we had. Jennifer was so warm and helpful from check in, to arranging a tour for us, parking pass, and restaurant suggestions. We stayed in the Admiral Turner Suite, enjoyed the wine and cheese hours, and then the dessert and coffee hours, complimentary breakfast in the beautiful garden courtyard. Located in the most beautiful tree lined street of Savannah just steps from Forsyth Park. A wonderful and relaxing getaway.

Great location! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Only moved our car once the whole week of our stay and that was for street cleaning. What a great peaceful atmosphere with informative staff. Loved the four poster bed and quiet room. We so enjoyed the wine tasting and deserts every night. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Savannah.

Beautiful, historic hotel! Staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Location was very good... close to Forsyth Park and about a 20 minute walk to the Riverfront. Quiet and peaceful alternative to the noisy hub-bub near the river.

We stayed for two nights for our anniversary celebration. The hotel is in a perfect location and was very clean. I wish I'd chosen a different room, as I chose a "garden level" that led to the courtyard. It was dark and definitely felt like a basement. Housekeeping did not come to refresh the room and towels until the evening, at which point we had just gotten back after a full day of being out and wanted to rest for a few minutes before dinner. My husband enjoyed the breakfast, however, there are no vegan or gluten free options. The last remaining slice of wheat bread for toast was moldy. The servers were very friendly and attentive. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would choose a different room next time and would go out for breakfast.

We enjoyed the Eliza Thompson House. The accommodations were great, and the staff was welcoming and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for evening dining. We loved the location, it was very quiet and within walking distance of most all activities. I would certainly recommend the Eliza Thompson House! And if I had the opportunity, I would stay there again.

Great location and lovely inn. The fan/light combo didn't work and even though we reported it, no one came to look at it. When we checked it the woman said the repair person had been busy. Also there were someone's clothes in the drawers in our room. A ghost or poor housekeeping, who knows?
