Eric, one of the restorers, and his apprentice, Garrett, very graciously took us on a personal tour of the museum and even behind the scenes! There are Salt of the Earth people left in Savannah, and they're here!

All aboard.. if you like trains if you love trains, you will love this place. If you don’t like trains, you will love this place. There’s something for everybody here classic trains, machine, shops warehouses print shop. You could even ride a train while you’re here so many cool things to see there’s even a round house that was used for train maintenance train Repairs and come see this great part of American history.

This was a great way to spend an afternoon with a ten year old. It was very educational with the train ride tour telling us all about the grounds and train cars there. It sits on the same property as the children's museum. We loved our time there. Everyone was very nice as well

Very cool museum. It is dog, friendly and handicap accessible. Definitely wanna go on a day that has good weather most everything is outside. 20 minute train ride is included in your admission fee very informative.
