Ebonee was very helpful and kind with switching our room when we noticed a malfunction with the flooring that caused some water to leak. She addressed the situation and immediately took action to upgrade us to a suite without charge. Our new room was spacious and clean. The hotel is also very close to several restaurants and historical spots, making it a nice walk on a sunny day.

Jane at the front desk was welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Ricardo with valet service was friendly, efficient, and provided exceptional service every time we needed assistance. A special thank you to the entire night shift team for their attentiveness, kindness, and commitment to making guests feel valued and comfortable. Their dedication truly made our stay memorable. We just stayed here with our two young children. After reading the reviews and already cancelling one hotel I was a little hesitant and nervous. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed here for 2 nights and had no issues. It’s obviously a cheaper hotel, you’re not going to have all the bells and whistles, but our room was clean, beds were extremely comfortable, AC got cold, and water got hot. Some things are run down, but it didn’t affect the cleanliness or any part of our stay. The breakfast had waffle maker, sausage, eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, juice & coffee. It was in a great spot, felt safe, and the desk was extremely friendly.

We stayed at the TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District over Memorial Day weekend and had a very pleasant experience. We arrived around 1:00 AM and were greeted by Joel, who immediately made us feel welcome. He was friendly, professional, and spoke three languages, including Spanish. As a person with mobility challenges, I especially appreciated that he took the time to assist us to our room. The excellent service continued throughout our stay. Both the day and evening staff were attentive, courteous, and always willing to help. During our visit, the hotel was completing renovations in the front lobby. Contrary to some reviews I had read beforehand, the work was not an inconvenience at all. In fact, by the end of our stay, the renovations were completed, and the lobby looked fantastic. The hotel is conveniently located downtown, with the riverfront about a 10 to 15-minute walk away. One thing mobility-impaired travelers should be aware of is that many of the historic streets near the waterfront are uneven, brick-paved, and not particularly friendly to mobility scooters or wheelchairs. This is more of a characteristic of the historic district than the hotel itself, but it’s worth noting. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Between the friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location, I would gladly stay here again.
