@diningwithdirk: Sunday Edition. Just because there haven’t been reviews lately doesn’t mean I haven’t been eating—quite the opposite. This morning, I had plans to try a new spot, but they didn’t open until 9… so in came the Savannah Coffee Roasters for the win. Short wait? Good. Friendly, welcoming staff? Even better. The food? The best. I went with the Eggolethorpe sandwich and a strawberry cheesecake cookie. That sandwich? The jam tied everything together perfectly. And the cookie—soft, moist, and absolutely worth it. Didn’t catch names, but I had great interactions with multiple staff members, and that always makes a difference. If you’re looking for a solid morning spot for coffee, pastries, or a breakfast sandwich—don’t hesitate. I ended the morning with a stroll through Crafts on the River and no day is complete without at least one visit to @friendsofforsyth

The pavlova definitely did not disappoint here but my flat white was not great. The staff who worked here did not smile or greet customers which made for a bit of a cold environment even though it was over 90 degrees out. I enjoyed the mini art vending machine and would recommend this place just for the pastries and desserts. 🍓

Smooth and delicious coffee. Loved the atmosphere here, awesome building filled with history. It’s very big inside with plenty of seating. The pastries were large and tasty! This establishment is everything Starbucks wishes it was. Plenty of seating.

I eat here any time I stay in savannah. The food is excellent. Great for breakfast and lunch. Its a quick walk from several hotels. Coffee is amazing, I get the coldbrew. They do have oat and almond milk and sugarfree syrups. And if you love the coffee you can take it home.

Quick service on a pleasantly busy weekday. Limited seating inside so we enjoyed the sidewalk seats and watched street traffic. The cortado must have been a single shot because of the Dixie cup size 😂 but I'll tell you, that tiramisu was properly done and absolutely delicious, melt in your mouth perfection!
