Historic place right in front of Forsyth Park. The great Revolutionary war hero is buried here right next to his monument. The Father of the American Cavalry, he paid the ultimate sacrifice to secure American independence. My wife is Polish, and she spent some time admiring the monument. Definitely worth the time and paying respects to a great independence hero.

A monument for general Pulaski within Monterey Square. Always strange seeing statues for confederate soldiers. Not sure what the message is. This is the closest square to Forsyth Park on the north side. Its a fairly busy area with lots of pedestrian and vehicular traffic nearby. Can be difficult to find parking in the area. Especially if there is an event going on in Forsyth Park.

A stunning memorial honoring General Casmier Pulaski. A hero of 2 nations, Poland and America. He is buried under the monument. A very special place to a Polish-American. Very well token Care of.

⭐️ Beautiful Historic Park in the Heart of Savannah I spent the afternoon exploring one of Savannah’s historic parks, and it was absolutely amazing. The entire area is clean, well-kept, and full of Southern charm — from the shaded lawns and old oak trees with Spanish moss to the elegant historic homes surrounding the square. There are several impressive monuments and statues throughout the park, each with its own story, and plenty of benches and grassy spots to relax and enjoy the scenery. Parking is available on nearby streets on a first-come, first-served basis. Perfect for walking, photography, or just soaking in Savannah’s historic atmosphere.
