This was one of our favorite experiences in Savannah. I loved how they blended history with hands-on play for children. It was such a creative way to introduce kids to history while still letting them explore and have fun. The outdoor maze was beautiful, and then the mirror maze was such a fun surprise and such a cool contrast! The whole property felt like a work of art.
Jul 11, 2026 · Google ReviewAlways a great experience at this children’s museum. It’s open air BUT there are plenty of areas with shade. It’s very unique the way they built stations utilizing the old building. One of my favorite stops when we are in town.
May 23, 2026 · Google ReviewSo much to see and do! From the STEAM center with it's maze of mirrors and interactive pattern displays, to the gardens, to the playground to the locomotives to the memorials of the Revolution. This was an impressive experience for kids of ALL ages. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, engaging the children with tasks and questions and just offering lots of praise. Remarkable.
Mar 5, 2026 · Google ReviewWe had a great time here with our kids, it’s fun, interactive, and a great place for children to explore and burn some energy. There were so many creative activities and outdoor areas to enjoy. Being right next to the Railroad Museum makes it a perfect family outing. We’re so glad we visited!
Jun 9, 2026 · Google ReviewWe went to Savannah to see the train museum and had the opportunity to visit the children’s museum while on the property. There was a lot of hands on things for the kids to do at this little museum. I noticed that a lot of the people working were volunteers and it was young adults out there taking their Sunday to work with kids. That was amazing. My kid did get upset because they had a scavenger hunt and told him there would be a prize for finding the animals and when he finished, they were out of prizes. Maybe let the “prize” be a surprise so that kids don’t get their hopes up when there aren’t any left? We enjoyed the slides and the maze!!! Great way to burn off energy!!
