Check in was simple, and the room appeared nice. It did look like we were missing some of the free snacks. When I went to take a shower I noticed hair in the bottom of the tub, on the rails, and a big blob of hair on the wall. There’s no way that tub was cleaned! When I called the front desk someone did come, and thoroughly clean it. The 2 free cocktails were nice, and so was the complimentary breakfast. I didn’t wait long for my omelette. The pool was nice, and conveniently open until 11!
Jul 12, 2026 · Google ReviewPros: Check in process was quick and easy. Manager's Reception is every night from 5-7, and was very nice. They have beer, wine, cocktails, and mocktails for free, in addition to light snacks like goldfish, Chex mix, veggies, hummus, etc. Breakfast in the morning was great! They have pancakes, omelets, scrambled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, breads & muffins, etc. Cons: The mini fridge in our room wasn't cold and reeked of chlorine, so we didn't use it, which was unfortunate since we'd brought perishables with us, expecting a working mini fridge. The air never really turned on even after adjusting the thermostat multiple times, turning the fan on max vs auto, etc. It was comfortable but not as cool as we'd hoped for in the evening. The cafe on site, Over Yonder, didn't appear have any food for kids, which was odd since it's supposed to be a family friendly hotel. Overall, it was a good experience, though.
Jul 1, 2026 · Google ReviewThe hotel is lovely, and the entire staff is very attentive. A special thank you to the young woman who cleaned my room during my stay—Ms. Zuri. She was so kind and always smiling, taking excellent care of us. Her hospitality is wonderful; this was my second visit to the hotel—I was here two months ago, and she cleaned my room then, too. Truly excellent service. My husband and I are very grateful to her. Best regards and thank you, Ms. Zuri.
Jun 12, 2026 · Google ReviewWe loved everything about this hotel. I’ve stayed in about 10 different hotels in Savannah and I think Embassy is easily top 3. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. I didn’t know this until check in, but you get 2 complimentary drinks at the bar in the evening per adult. The room was more than we expected. The living room had a fold out bed. We didn’t know about either of those options. The bedroom was its own private area and the bathroom was huge. The staff were friendly all the way around. It was also kind of close to everything. It was close enough to walk but far enough away to enjoy the town on the way somewhere. We will be back!
Jun 14, 2026 · Google ReviewThis Embassy is in a great location for walking around the historic district. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. Perfect for our "girls trip"! The young man at the front desk was very helpful. The pool is outside and perfect for relaxing on a sunny day. They have a firepit off of the pool deck and several places to sit or lounge. The gym is adequate with all the basics. My fridge came with diet coke; plenty of snacks were waiting too! They have the evening reception and Embassy is known for and the giant breakfast! The bartender, Alexis, was friendly and attentive. The hotel had a concierge, Carol, who was helpful reserving our trolly tour-such an excellent resource for Savannah info!
