Had a fantastic time visiting this museum. We had to make the best of a rainy day. Saw all the engines and took the tour. Patrick was our tour guide. We rode on to the turn table and was about it. Severe weather cut our ride short but they made up for it with a back behind the scenes tour of a railcar they are restoring thats not part of the regular tour. We enjoyed what we got to see and they gave us a 3 day rain check. We had went back home but we will come back and try it again some time. I definitely recommend it if not just for the ride.

Awesome place to learn about what once was the most advanced mode of transportation. 200 + years of history there including the site of a Revolutionary War battle where 800 Americans died in just 55 minutes to the English. Sad but you know the rest! Locomotives were built here and they still restore them.

Fun experience! A lot of cool history to see. We did the train ride with our 16 year old and 4 year old and they really enjoyed it.

This reminded me of going to Pa to ride of a coal powered train and how excited I was. I was a little kid again. The train ride was the best part and totally worth it. They are non-profit and they fix up all the trains on site. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
