Pricey but worth it. Pops was our favorite tour guide. Very intelligent about all things Savannah, keeps the tour very upbeat, despite a pop up storm. We loved the St. John the Baptist Cathedral. Absolutely breathtaking. Savannah was a day trip for us as we are staying in Hilton Head but I would love to come back and stay longer so that we can explore even more. Forsyth Park is beautiful!! Even though it is July, we had periods when it was cloudy, so it wasn’t terrible. Thank you for a great experience!!
Jul 17, 2026 · Google ReviewFrom the Basilica, to the numerous statues, to the Battlefield that SCAD is literally built on top of, this tour spared no monument or historical site. Our driver/tour guide, Cooper, WAS THE BEST. She was knowledgeable about not only the entire tour, but things that were happening in Savannah during the time we were there! Fantastic. Everything about this experience was professional, high quality and informative, from top to bottom. Would definitely go again if we were ever to return to Savannah someday. Highly rated. Go and take a tour with these folks, you'll definitely get your money's worth 😎
Jul 6, 2026 · Google ReviewWe really enjoyed the Savannah Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley Tour. We started by riding the full two‑hour loop, which was the perfect way to get oriented and decide which stops we wanted to explore more deeply. The route covers so many highlights—Forsyth Park, City Market, River Street, the Cathedral, and more—so it’s a great introduction to the city. We rode with five different trolley drivers throughout the day, and four of them were absolutely fantastic. They were funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about Savannah’s history. Their storytelling added so much charm to the experience. We did have one driver who wasn’t very pleasant, but that was the only downside in an otherwise wonderful day. Overall, this tour is a flexible, informative, and enjoyable way to see Savannah. Highly recommend for first‑time visitors or anyone who wants to learn the city’s history while exploring at their own pace.
May 26, 2026 · Google ReviewIntegrity, Empathy, and a "Dragon" Sized Adventure! Our family trip to Savannah was phenomenal, but Old Town Trolley earned our loyalty for life. We’ve all grown used to the "kiosk and AI" world where customer service is an afterthought, but this team proved that human connection still matters. The Tour Experience: Our first guide, Camie, set a high bar. She was engaging, funny, and—most importantly—factually accurate. We actually took another local tour later in the week and realized the information they gave us was easily debunked. It made us appreciate the integrity and deep historical knowledge Camie shared even more. She doesn't just recite a script; she knows the city's story. The "Above and Beyond" Moment: The real magic happened when my 10-year-old son, AJ, realized he left his 4-year best friend, "Dragonite Jr." (a stuffed dragon), on a trolley. We were devastated. We reached out to the office, and Sheila went to work. She tracked him down at the depot 3 miles away and coordinated a "reunion" by getting him back to a route driver. Then came Irish. They didn’t just return the toy; they texted us a series of photos of Dragonite Jr.’s "solo adventure" around Savannah—hanging out at the Pirates Museum, the Prohibition Museum speakeasy, and even "driving" the trolley. Irish wanted AJ to know his buddy was safe and happy. When AJ was finally reunited with his dragon and saw those photos, he was moved to tears. This wasn't about "giving a patron their money's worth." It was about a team having genuine empathy for a child’s sadness and going out of their way to fix it. Thank you, Sheila, Camie, and Irish, for showing us the heart of Savannah. You didn't just give us a tour; you gave us a memory we will treasure forever.
Apr 30, 2026 · Google ReviewThese trolleys are a lifesaver! You can hop off at any stop and get back on at any stop until 5pm. Or, you can stay on for the entire tour, and the driver will tell you about each stop along the way. The drivers try to make it fun and informal. If you are staying in Savannah, I would look for rooms near one of the stops so you can travel through the city without having to walk forever! I believe there are 15 stops total.
