E-Tang came highly commended by our Airbnb host. I so badly wanted to love this place. Even though we arrived 30 minutes late for pickup due to driving through a severe thunder storm to get to Savannah - they had given our order to someone with a similar name and had to remake it. We waited 20 minutes for our new order. The food was pretty good at first, especially the chicken soup dumplings, but I found what appeared to look like and have the texture of a plastic bag and inedible (pictured below) in my chicken with mixed vegetables. The lo mein was also pretty good. Overall a bit disappointing and missed the mark for me.
Jun 15, 2026 · Google ReviewE-tang was okay! I was not impressed with my beef lo mein or mongolian lamb at all. The fried rice was also pretty mid. However , the cold noodles and the General Tso shrimp were delicious. You cannot switch out the steamed rice for fried rice. The wait staff is pretty blunt and it could have come off as rude if I was not who I am. Overall, I would go back for the cold noodles and the shrimp but only for takeout. We spent $89 all together and I definitely do not think it was worth that.
Apr 6, 2026 · Google ReviewWe came here at the recommendation of some locals, the food and service was AMAZING! We had the best soup dumplings here I’ve ever had. They were so good I wanted to come back for more and if we had time we would have! We dined in right when they first opened for the day, but we saw a lot of people doing takeout as well. We also had the orange chicken which came with some white rice. That was so good as well. They catered to my nut allergy and made sure of no cross contamination. Thank you, I will be back.
Jul 10, 2026 · Google ReviewWe really enjoyed the food at E-Tang. We had the Fried Veggie Spring Rolls, Stir Fried Green Beans and Eggplant, Orange Chicken and the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Good size portions and everything was delicious.
Feb 7, 2026 · Google ReviewThe food at E tang was delicious! The soup dumplings were fantastic, maybe a little cool temp-wise for my liking, but so tasty. We also had the beef tendon, lamb and fish soup, and sweet and sour ribs. The entrees were all excellent! E tang, in my opinion, is the best Chinese food in Savannah!
