Stopped in on a Tuesday morning around 9 and walked right in with no wait. The place was maybe 15% full, which made for a relaxed, unhurried start to the day. We ordered the Big Chick’n and the Just Bubba. Both were solid, but the biscuits were the highlight. Great texture, good flavor, and toasted just right. The gravy had the consistency it should have and was well seasoned without being salty. That balance is harder to nail than most places make it look. I had seen some uneven reviews about the potatoes before we went, so I was watching for it. Happy to report they came out with a nice crisp and were well seasoned. Whatever inconsistency existed before, it wasn’t present on our visit. Service was great from start to finish. I didn’t catch our server’s name, but she kept things attentive without being intrusive. If you’re in Savannah and want a breakfast worth sitting down for, J. Christopher’s earns it.

Wow. This breakfast was delicious! We were looking for a place that was local with good service, not too crowded, affordable, but also really good food and we found it here! The pancakes and omelettes were awesome. French toast was also a hit. Olivia was the best server and Vicky was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival, service was slow, took a while to get a server. Finally got the server place. Placed order but needed to say the food was not up to par. The Grits was running no flavor the lemon pancakes were good, Alamo omelet and the Billie go omelet. Nothing great lacked substance.

Breakfast was good. Crab cake Benedict, the crab had quite a few shells. Cook messed up on poaching eggs but it was quickly corrected by our server. Grits were good & creamy. The corn beef hash was good too, but husband still looking for a place that can top Robert’s in Tucson, AZ. Service was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Very quirky and fun place with charming outside dining on sidewalk. Would return but would try different items. Beautiful historic area.

Great breakfast food! Juevos avocado dish was scarfed down because it was so good. Topped it off with an Irish coffee which was steaming hot and delicious as always. Waffles were so light and didn’t sit heavy in your stomach.
