Check in was simple, and the room appeared nice. It did look like we were missing some of the free snacks. When I went to take a shower I noticed hair in the bottom of the tub, on the rails, and a big blob of hair on the wall. There’s no way that tub was cleaned! When I called the front desk someone did come, and thoroughly clean it. The 2 free cocktails were nice, and so was the complimentary breakfast. I didn’t wait long for my omelette. The pool was nice, and conveniently open until 11!

The hotel is lovely, and the entire staff is very attentive. A special thank you to the young woman who cleaned my room during my stay—Ms. Zuri. She was so kind and always smiling, taking excellent care of us. Her hospitality is wonderful; this was my second visit to the hotel—I was here two months ago, and she cleaned my room then, too. Truly excellent service. My husband and I are very grateful to her. Best regards and thank you, Ms. Zuri.

We loved everything about this hotel. I’ve stayed in about 10 different hotels in Savannah and I think Embassy is easily top 3. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. I didn’t know this until check in, but you get 2 complimentary drinks at the bar in the evening per adult. The room was more than we expected. The living room had a fold out bed. We didn’t know about either of those options. The bedroom was its own private area and the bathroom was huge. The staff were friendly all the way around. It was also kind of close to everything. It was close enough to walk but far enough away to enjoy the town on the way somewhere. We will be back!

Room was a great size, 2 room suite, but in need of attention. Flooring was worn and lifting up in the kitchen area. Great evening reception with 2 free drinks and appetizers each night. They have a very good breakfast buffet with made to order omlettes, pancakes, eggs. Good location (walkable), close to major attractions but quiet. I felt safe in all areas of the city that we saw. Very clean, friendly city. We will be back!

I really liked the room and overall service. I would be careful if traveling with small children. We requested a crib at the time of booking and expressed our need again at check in. We arrived at our room past midnight and there was no crib. We requested it again. What came was a folded Pack and Play without a fitted sheet or any sheet for that matter. Not the best experience in that sense. Great breakfast and dining service.
