Son just graduated from SCAD and was having an awesome beer at my hotel bar. Found out the beer was made within a 5 minute walk and here I am!! Beer is awesome AND they give back to our Veterans. 5 Star General for Service Brewing!

Great little find near River. I had the Compass Rose IPA, and found it well-balanced and refreshing. You do have to go to the bar for service and food was offered by a food truck. It was cold outside so the garage-door was closed but I believe they open it for an open-air garage feel when possible. It was Friday evening and there was a fabulous bluegrass jam band, “Swamptooth” playing on the small stage. I’ll definitely return.

Very cool, open atmosphere, with plenty of taps. Super dog friendly, and all staff was patient and helpful. The don’t do flights during special events, so keep that in mind.

We made a quick stop at this fun tap room when we visited Savannah. The beer was very good (recommend the Rally Point Pilsner) and there was live music too. There was a food truck right out front if you wanted to eat. We had a nice visit.
