Hotel was nice and clean. Has an upscale vibe. Is small pet friendly but there are no pet areas. There is a park a block away. Might be better suited for a girls trip or couples trip. I don't think I'd bring my kids or dog here again.

Great stay at The Alida right after Christmas! The hotel had a really charming, quaint après-ski/après-ski lodge vibe set up for the season, which felt like a fun little winter escape in Savannah. The location is excellent. Super walkable and close to everything, we barely needed transportation at all. It was busy (the day after Christmas), which is totally expected for the time of year, but despite the crowd the service never missed a beat. Check-in and check-out were smooth and the staff was warm, organized, and genuinely welcoming. The servers and bartenders were all doing an amazing job, especially impressive considering the rush of the holiday week. The rooftop yurt was adorable and made for a cute photo-op and cozy hangout. I joked that it might not be ideal in hotter weather, but that’s obviously no fault of theirs — weather happens, and they made the best of it with the theme. Brunch and drinks at The Rhett were fantastic. Also worth noting, the service team deserves extra credit for their energy and attentiveness during such a high-traffic holiday window. Only two tiny notes (and more just feedback than criticism): our room didn’t have bottled water available. Not a dealbreaker at all, just something that stood out. As an American Express member, I was able to take full advantage of all partner benefits, including room upgrades and on-property perks, which made the stay even better. Overall, a great experience, great staff, and a hotel that clearly knows how to show up for its guests — even in the busiest moments. Would definitely stay again when visiting Savannah!

Perfect location for close walking to the riverfront, great dining, and shopping. Food was good and the rooftop bar was fun. This was the most pet friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. Just make sure to get your room bill emailed before you leave because you can’t find their phone number anywhere and the main Marriott customer support is worthless.

I experience the most excellent service from a front desk staff member - Paulina. Essentially I was expecting an important package that was to be delivered to the hotel. Unfortunately it wasn’t dropped in time and I needed to be closer to the airport. Paulina understood what needed to happen and once the package was delivered she drove the envelope to me, taking time out of her day (40mins at minimum) She is a true asset to the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Alida. The location was great. We enjoyed the proximity of many restaurants and shops and the ease of getting to the historic district. The hotel itself is very comfortable and modern though not out of place with Savannah's history and southern charm. We stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday night and the vibe was very pleasant altough we were told that because of its proximity to the River Plant District, the hotel gets very loud on the weekends. Although the room was very comfortable, we wish there had been a closet and luggage racks. And, the shower temperature was very difficult to regulate...it was either too hot or too cold. Although all the staff was welcoming and helpful, we want to single out Bellina and Doris. Both took an extra step to help us have a great stay
