The Foley House is in the PERFECT location for Savannah. Easily walkable to anywhere in the historic district. The Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Parking was never an issue for paid street parking (other than we didn’t know Monday night was street sweeper night and got a $50 ticket). We parked right in front of the hotel Friday - Tuesday. Breakfast is complimentary but just “so/so”. Buffet style, small choices and either bought or frozen. Would have liked to see more options. Room was clean but bed was SQUEAKY. I mean if one person rolled over in the night the other person heard it squeaky. Carpets need to be cleaned (dusty) and blinds need to be replaced. Two out of four window blinds had issues. Suggestion…. Soda drinking machine on site. Would stay here again just for the location but it won’t be our first choice.
Jul 29, 2026 · Google ReviewWe stayed here recently for 3 nights. We got in late which was fine and they sent us a door code to get in. Our room was spacious and the bathroom updated. The rug in our room absolutely needs to get thrown away. It was matted down from use and had numerous pet stains on it. The rugs in the hallway of the inn were no better. Really needs some TLC. Breakfast was just okay. Extremely limited selection and when the clock hits 9:58am that food is going away lol. Most historic bed and breakfasts I’ve stayed at in Savannah make your food to order which is not the case here. No one even fills up your coffee cup. Our room was never cleaned the entire time we stayed here. We flipped our sign to “service please” and never received service. We were out all days that we were there. The inn is in a nice location and is close to many things.
May 10, 2026 · Google ReviewBed and "breakfast." Firstly, I just want to say the staff here at Foley House are all amazing people and my review is no fault of theirs one bit, but rather "corporate" dropping the ball. Mrs. Dee Dee is absolutely amazing and helpful with her knowledge of Savannah and where to visit. I put "breakfast" in quotations because if youre coming for a BnB experience, I would say to look elsewhere. Breakfast here consists of previously frozen "omelets," small ramekin dishes with chopped fruits and granola, pre packaged oatmeal, some crossiants and one breakfast meat. The exact same that you would find at the Holiday Inn Express off Bay St. At least they have the automatic pancake maker or waffle maker in their offerings. Highly unsatisfied with that option. Hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. Clean, safe, and beautiful. Centrally located with 10 minute walks to each River St and Forsythe Park. Would've been 5 stars if they would just spend the money to have someone actually make a fresh breakfast for their customers. Idk if i will be back. I get the same "bed" in cheaper hotels with more breakfast selections.
May 31, 2026 · Google ReviewThis was a lovely stay! We stayed in the carriage house. Our room was fairly simple but still very nice. The bed and bedding appeared new, and was clean and comfortable. If (when) we come back, we'd probably choose one of the more luxurious rooms in the main house. The courtyard garden is gorgeous and serene - perfect for sipping your morning coffee with a book. Breakfast was solid - omelet, meat, fruit, muffins, croissants, yogurt. Felt very fancy eating in the formal dining area. Service at the front desk was fantastic. They validate parking at the Liberty Parking Deck - you will pay half of what is posted by the garage. The location is central, everything we wanted to see was pretty much walkable, yet it never felt loud or rowdy.
May 27, 2026 · Google ReviewMy wife and I just got back from a 3 night weekend trip to Savannah where we stayed at the Foley House Inn. We loved staying here. The location was great, we walked everywhere we wanted to go with no issues at all, and there was a nice park right across the street. The service was great, especially Chuck and Deedee, who were really great to talk to and super nice. And the room was very nice and comfortable with a large, updated bathroom. My wife and I love staying at old buildings that have been turned into BnB's on our trips and this was a very nice one. There's a lot you can expect from an old building that may need repaired, but that adds to the charm. The breakfasts were very good and service was great for them. We would definitely stay here again.
