We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our family reunion! It was Juneteenth and Father's Day the weekend we stayed there and we received excellent service in order to plan a wonderful event here. Robin Mawer and Jessica Sharpe helped me with the planning process including reserving a block of 20 rooms and a room to greet family members while distributing goody bags. Robin and Jessica were responsive and provided support when I had questions or needed additional information. The family was so impressed by the lobby as well as the rooms. We could hardly believe that the hotel wasn't brand new because the rooms were in such good condition and the lobby was so bright and welcoming. Everyone was so pleased with the quality of the breakfast as well. That space didn't feel as new as the other parts of the hotel. Still, it was well taken care of with staff available to quickly clean up any messes or spills. The omelet line was outstanding and a favorite among the elders in the group! I was so happy to have fruit and bananas as well so I could have a healthy start to the day before diving into all of the delicious food Savannah has to offer. I highly recommend this hotel for a group trip! I would also stay here again when visiting family members in the area.

This hotel is absolutely a good choice. The rooms were clean. The staff is extremely pleasant and professional, including Miss Paulina at the front desk. She’s truly a gem and she went above and beyond during check-in.

Front desk was helpful but not very friendly. Same for the dining staff. Overall the hotel did the job of providing a little something for breakfast and some place to sleep. The rooms are average. The common spaces could use a good deep clean. The hotel itself feels a bit dark with all the browns but nothing to keep us from staying again.

I'll start this by saying we have always tried to stay at Embassy Suites when we travel. We have always had consistently good visits all over the country. However, we did not feel this location was at a quality level similar to the many other locations we've stayed. It was a very mid overall experience and that's why the rating is mid, as well. First of all, the floor we stayed on (and I cannot say this is the same for all floors) was very musty smelling and was clearly in need of renovations. The room itself was pretty good, but as soon as you step out into the hallway, it was not the impression you should have from this level of hotel brand. It felt like we were in a $50/night hotel. Secondly, the pillows were pathetic. They were so thin that if you rolled them up and put two in a case there was still nothing to them. And we don't even like thick pillows, we just want to have enough pillow to support our head. These were entirely flat. Thirdly, I will say that in today's world, charging for more than 10mbps of internet is just greedy. There is no reason other than being a money grab, and yes, we're aware this is national corporate policy and we'll continue to fuss about it. Two people cannot even use the internet at the same time without paying to upgrade. Just put the upgrade in the room price from the beginning if that's how you want to do it, don't make it an add-on. That makes you look cheap. Staff was nice, breakfast was fine, location is convenient enough when driving through the area. But we'll be staying elsewhere if we need an overnight stop in this area, at least until they have a renovation. We stayed at another Embassy Suites in another city on this same trip and it was the luxury experience we have come to expect from the brand.
