SAV is a small airport with 20 gates. Apparently more are being built and will open in 2026. The airline bag check areas are easy with plenty of staff to help. Security for us was light and there were options. They have TSA Pre, Clear mobile (you need the app), handicapped security line (nice!) and regular security. It’s a clean and quiet terminal with numerous food and drink options. Plenty of bathrooms and water bottle fillers. No lounge that worked for a united or priority pass member. We picked up an Uber on the way in and it was simple. The city of Savannah is lovely and I recommend visiting. We’ll be back!

This is an airport we often use when traveling or when my husband is on business trips. It’s not a large airport, but it has a warm, welcoming feel and is very charming. It’s clean and well-maintained, and we have no complaints at all.

Loved how small and easy this airport was! I'm from phx (our airport is 10x bigger) where it takes at least 15 min to get to tsa area from parking, then forever to get to your gate! It was so nice not having to do that here!! There was plenty of places to sit near your gate, and the prices for food and souvenirs were not too bad at all!
