My overall experience at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Pooler, Georgia was average, earning a 3 out of 5-star rating. While the hotel offers several conveniences and modern amenities, there were a number of service and maintenance issues that impacted my six-night stay. Pros: The location is excellent, with easy access to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport and only about a 15-minute drive to Savannah's Historic District. The room featured modern USB and USB-C charging outlets, which made charging multiple devices convenient. The HD Samsung television provided a good viewing experience, and the bedding was comfortable. The room was clean and well-presented upon arrival. Cons: The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool during the daytime, making the room somewhat uncomfortable during warmer hours. WiFi performance was inconsistent, with intermittent speeds that made high-speed internet use frustrating at times. There was no shampoo provided in the room when I checked in. Housekeeping never serviced my room during my entire six-night stay. I had to visit the front desk on two separate evenings just to obtain clean towels. Breakfast service does not begin until 6:00 AM. For travelers leaving early for work or flights, a 5:00 AM start time would be much more convenient. The King Deluxe room layout was somewhat disappointing. The room only contained one television, and the seating area faced an empty wall mount where a second TV appears to have once been installed, making the space feel incomplete and underutilized. I had to go to the front desk twice to reactivate my key card two days in a row at the beginning of my stay. Overall, the hotel offers a convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and modern room features. However, the lack of housekeeping service, inconsistent WiFi, and maintenance shortcomings prevented what could have been a much better experience.

Bed was comfortable and bedding clean but bathroom, specifically the shower was dirty and the plastic shower curtain disgusting. The carpeting and flooring in public areas was badly stained and hadn't even been vacuumed in several days. The breakfast buffet did not include sausage or bacon and the powdered scrambled eggs were cold. If you travel with a pet, be prepared to pay a $75 fee if you stay 2 nights. This is one of the worst LaQuintas Ive stayed at.

I love La Quinta and I use you a lot. This one looked recently renovated. There were a few silly problems that distracted from my stay. The woman at the front desked worked very hard to correct the issues. No ice bucket in the room. Front desk had no spares so she had to search empty rooms. She went to 7 rooms before dhe found sn ice bucket. This mesns that a lot of rooms don't have ice buckets and there's no spares available. That's silly since theri a working ice machine. Oh, and the soap in the shower would not produce sny soap after multiple pumps... Again silly, but annoying.
