Mark and the Savannah Even Catering team were so amazing to work with for our outdoor wedding in September! We were able to meet with the team for a food tasting about 2 months prior to our wedding and I immediately knew we made the right decision in hiring SEC! The food was delicious! I was a little nervous with how the quality of food would translate since our dinner was outside under a tent but it Mark reassured us that they were familiar with this style of reception and helped us pick dishes that would work well for our venue. Our guests LOVED the food, especially the shrimp and grits and the peach cobbler. I would 100% recommend this team for the perfect low country event!

I'm so happy we chose them the food was amazing, but was even more amazing was the staff they joined in with us and became family in the midst of doing their job and never missed a beat. One even offered us a prayer on our new union and said thank you for having them. I'm upset at myself I didn't remember all their names to put in this review. But we love you and thank you again for a job well done.

Savannah Event Catering was truly exceptional from start to finish. Three months before our wedding, we had the opportunity to do a tasting with Chef Mark to finalize our menu, and every dish we tried was incredible — it was genuinely difficult to narrow down our choices. On the wedding day, the food served under our outdoor tent was just as outstanding as it was at the tasting. The quality was not diminished in the slightest, which is incredibly impressive. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the entire evening. The food—from the passed appetizers to dinner to dessert—was consistently delicious. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Both the chicken and beef were cooked perfectly and were major highlights. The flaming donut station was an unforgettable addition and a huge hit among our guests. We will be talking about it for years to come, and we highly recommend including it. Chef Mark and his team were such a wonderful part of our wedding experience. From the beginning, they were responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely sincere. We were immediately impressed by the variety of the menu, and as two people who love to cook, it meant so much to us to create a meal that truly reflected us as a couple. On our wedding day, the food was absolutely incredible. Everything tasted amazing, and our guests are still talking about how much they loved the meal.
