Idk if he’s a manager or not, but the scraggly, unkept gentleman with the thinning hair is going to end up ruining business for you all. I bought my first real board from you all and was very excited to finally be able to visit your establishment again, but my visit was quickly turned sour when I was told “I’d rather you not touch all over my stuff if you aren’t going to buy anything” after making a comment about possibly having to buy my equipment online.. Shoutout to Will for always having great customer service, but the other guy is a stain on an otherwise amazing shop. Edit: I did ask if you had any used boards “for sale”. I also made sure to say to the younger employee I would pay for them. I’m a past customer who bought a complete deck from you all- not some upstart that expects free items, and I love supporting small businesses even through second-hand purchases. Also, I did make mention of buying gear online out of convenience as my schedule does not allow me to visit your establishment often, something I said initially. However, I never stated I would buy online as opposed to buying in store, only that I would resort to online shopping if I needed. I even commented that nothing quite beats being able to feel the gear in your hands. Rather than recognizing it as the harmless conversation it was, your employee got irate and told me to stop touching things and leave if I wasn’t going to buy anything(when in fact I was absolutely going to purchase the grey Nike beanie displayed for $26), and then tried to renege once I told him I would in fact leave. I love your establishment and its mission, but that particular employee is a stain on your otherwise great customer-service. Thank you for your attentive response. I hope you can use this experience as a coaching moment for the betterment of your business.

Awesome shop with awesome staff. I brought in an old school shape deck and some Plow Kings I’d ordered from an online shop. Hadn’t so much as looked at a skateboard in nearly 20 years. They were super welcoming and helped me piece together the rest of the board, offering multiple options and detailing the pros and cons of each. Luís also went over all the hardware and how it all works together. They had my dream skateboard assembled, taped, and ready to go in no time. I’ll check with these guys before I source anything online in the future. Great resource to have right downtown. Go check ‘em out!

Clockwork Skate Shop is more than just a skate shop, it’s a place where community, kindness, and genuine human connection shine through. My son recently had the unforgettable experience of building his very first skateboard here, and it was all thanks to the incredible staff, especially Dakota. Dakota took the time to walk my son through every step of the process, patiently answering questions, offering real advice, and most importantly, showing him acceptance and encouragement. It wasn’t just customer service, it was mentorship, friendship, and support wrapped into one meaningful visit. While we were there, Genesis was also in the shop, adding even more energy and fun to the experience. The three of them , Blake (my son), Dakota, and Genesis snapped a photo together, and it’s a memory we’ll cherish. Clockwork offers five-star service that even the most upscale establishments should aspire to. These men welcomed my son like a best friend, and that kind of authenticity can’t be faked. We left with a new skateboard, yes but more importantly, we left feeling seen, supported, and a little more connected to the skating community. Thank you, Dakota and Genesis, for going above and beyond. You’ve made lifelong fans out of us.

I travel from Augusta GA to buy from Clockwork and it’s worth the trip every time!! The employees are super friendly and always help. Even let me use his hotspot cuz my service was bad. Can’t go wrong with CW Savannah!
