Rooms were extremely clean and the service of all hotel staff was great. The location was very walkable to shops and restaurants and the historical feel of the hotel was charming. The only con I would caution anyone staying here is to make sure you double check about your view. My room on the 4th floor over looked a lot of hvac and other building equipment. I will definitely stay again but make sure I have a better view next time

We chose to stay here because... 1. Historic district - easy access to everything by walking that we cared to see and visit. 2. Valet Parking was provided at a fee. This was nice as we never moved our vehicle once. When or if we needed it, it would/could be made available for simply by asking. 3. Plenty of eating for nearby snacks, lunch, dinner, casual and specialty like The Olde Pink House. You'll have to do a little research - "The historic district in Savannah, Georgia. The staff at Marshall house are super, super pleasant and are there to make your stay not just pleasurable but MEMORABLE. There are special evening events Monday through Friday in the evening for about an hour serving wine, cheese, crackers - a time to socialize. It is set up very nicely and handled by Wayne, the food and beverage manager for the Marshall House - kudos to Wayne!! The breakfast served in the morning is a great way to start your day. The hostess seats you, you fill out your choices of "eats" and they are brought to your table. No, you don't serve yourself - they serve you and they do a great job and they are friendly too!.

A beautiful hotel with very helpful and friendly staff! Roberto greeted us and gave us good information about where to eat and places to see. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and the wine and cheese evenings! We loved our balcony room and had no problems getting in and out of the window.

If you like buildings rich in history and steeped with an antiquated yet modernized feel, then you’ll enjoy your stay here as much as my wife and I did.|Breakfast was great, much more than your standard stale bagel, dry cereal and watered down coffee! |The area is filled with things to do, also rich in historic landmarks! Our room was quaint and quiet, with a signature on the iron, claw-foot tub!
