ChrisknipsThe river walk is fantastic. So much free history to check out. Plaques statues and monuments all over the street. The dogs and i loved the waving girl statue. Can’t imagine having to leave my girl and dogs to go fight in a war. Powerful stuff. Tons of food and cocktails in the area a great way to spend an afternoon

Jeanette RBeautiful statue and riverside views. Very disappointed that I didn't see any placard description!! We literally had to Google what the story was behind the statue.

Philip StephensEntire riverfront is wonderful. The statue & her story were very interesting to learn about while on a trolley tour. Nice clean spot to watch the ship traffic pass by!

DaveandDeb AlbertsonBeautiful start/finish to the river and Riverwalk in Savannah. Plenty of shops and restaurants, local artisans, beautiful statue and scenery. Free ferry to the hotel across the river. Free transportation by the city for sightseeing.Something for everyone, a beautiful way to spend the day. The cargo ships coming and going with the tugboats it’s definitely something you don’t see every day.

Jordan ForsythSuch a beautiful work of art to commemorate Florence. The one landmark I was really excited to see while visiting, and she was worth it. We when in the evening around 5 on a week day and it was pretty quiet. The few that walked up took a photo or two but kept the peace in staying quiet perfect view of the river from there with a green space to the right and plenty of benches with shade to relax in after walking River Street.
