We had a wonderful stay at Olde Harbour Inn and were very happy with everything. Our room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, with a beautiful water view. The location is excellent — right in the center, perfect for exploring the city. The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. We also really appreciated all the thoughtful extras: ice cream in the freezer, complimentary wine and snacks in the evening (5:30–7:00), friendly staff, and convenient on-site parking. A nice touch was the earplugs provided in the room. We didn’t hear any noise from the riverwalk since our bedroom faced the back courtyard, but housekeeping in nearby rooms starts early, so they actually came in handy. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.
Apr 11, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is a beautiful hotel. Our room was phenomenal. There were even ice cream bars in the freezer when we arrived! The staff were all amazing. The evening appetizer/wine receptions were fantastic. The location is so easy to navigate to see Savannah. This is definitely somewhere I will stay again!!!
Jun 5, 2026 · Google ReviewThe hotel is an old historic building with modern amenities. Nicely furnished and spacious. Conveniently located on River St. Complimentary wine and cheese every evening and Klondike bars in your freezer every day. But the downside is the room doesn't get serviced every day, and when it does it is just to replace towels and make the bed, cleaning didn't happen. One day there was a bag hung on our room's door knob with toiletry replenishments and trash bags. I guess we were expected to empty our own trash cans? For what it costs per night the room should be cleaned daily and the trash emptied by staff. When arrived the end tables and night stands had stains on them from a coffee mug or glass which easily whipped off with a wet paper towel, see picture. The bedroom lamp was covered with dust, see picture. The shower had black hairs in it and neither my wife or I have black hair. Bathroom floor tile needs a cleaning and the carpets needs to be vacuumed. Cleanliness and upkeep are fundamental to any hotel experience, and given how that really didn't exist, I struggled with even giving three stars. If cleaning was prioritized it would be a 5 plus star rating.
Apr 5, 2026 · Google ReviewWe had the PREMIERE 2-BED SUITE and liked it. The room was spacious and the vibe from it was unlike what you would get from a hotel. Felt like a loft. The floor and ceiling matches the feel of being historic. Bathroom was kind of small. Wax seal of the toilet must have been blown because water leaked out. No big deal though. You could still see the river even though view was somewhat obstructed from the building across the street. The free sprites and waters were a nice touch. They offer ear plugs which may be needed when the boats unload drunk people from the river or the occasional loud car driving down Bay Street. We’ve stayed in Plant Riverside but like the calmness and the suites better here. Our room was accessible de Bay Street. When we would walk out, we were right in the park with the nice mossy trees. No ghost shenanigans with us. There were no threshold at the door. We could easily hear when people would walk into the entryway and into their room while in the main area. I’d recommend staying here or Marshall House over the chains.
Dec 8, 2025 · Google ReviewWe have made many trips to Savannah and have stayed in some really neat places but this river front balcony with river view room topped them all. It's a registered historic place with creaky wood floors, dove tailed wood collums and shiplap ceilings. This is our kind of stay! Watching the cargo ships pass in what feels like arms reach is very cool. This pet friendly place has a very large green space just out front. Our room had a king on the main floor and a queen in an open loft area. The staff is also super nice and booked us right away just minutes before arriving. We like to wing it when we travel. And Kevin is a beast and will carry all your luggage if you don't jump in... literally at once lol! Thank you!
