Jeff KirkitelosSorry for writing this review late, but since we got back been very busy. I wanted to start by sharing a quick story. On August 16th, 2025 I proposed to my now wife on the riverwalk near the WWII Monument. After we got engaged, we decided to come back to Savannah to get married at the Forsythe Park Fountain on June 23rd, 2026. On both occasions we stayed at the East Bay Inn and the staff, and everyone just made our visits the best you can get in Savannah. They helped us greatly on the morning of our wedding with many people coming and going, from Photographer, Limousine, taking care of our wedding cake. They made our day very special and unforgettable. My wife and I would highly recommend staying at the East Bay Inn and visiting Debi’s Restaurant in the basement. Amazing food. We also had a visit from our Friendly spirit Charlie. Thank you again East Bay Inn for making our wedding day very special and all you did for us. We will definitely be back for more memories. Scott MelchingAbsolutely incredible hotel and staff. It is a pet friendly hotel so there is a small oder in the hallway but none in the room. The rooms were quiet. Nice water pressure in the shower. It is a clean hotel. The charm of the old building cannot be beat. Debi’s restaurant in the basement is like a walk through time. Decent food. Ambiance is off the charts! Location is great. Right downtown, easy walk to everything. The staff, again, was incredible - from the impromptu TP request of the cleaning lady to the dessert recommendations (Better Than Sex) from the front desk. If you’re in Savanah for the history, this can be a wonderful compliment to your trip.

Vanessa MajorsWhat a pleasant stay! Firstly, the front desk staff were quick to greet me, helped me get checked in and parked in the (free!) On site parking. They offered the amenities and made suggestions for things to do indoors since it is so hot outside this week. The room was lovely- just the right mix of historical charm but with modern touches. Tastefully decorated, but didn't feel stuffy nor old. The shower was amazing- roomy, with a nice shower head and hand sprayer. The bed was comfy and the pillows were not flat. The room also offered great personal touches such as robes, ear plugs, a shower pellet for a spa-like experience, and tasty local popcorn. The entire stay was very enjoyable. Thanks for a memorable stay and thank you for hiring nice people!

MRKINGAA1From the super friendly and very helpful Ms Jennifer and all the employees, to the history and incredible room. Thank you for the chance to see this historic town and spend it at your wonderful Inn. The room was incredible. A free drink at the bar was greeted with more kindness from the bartender Hilary making you feel welcome. Breakfast in the morning at Debi's diner was greeted with history and stories from a long time run family business. Thanks for making our trip extra special...

Karen MacaionePerfect location-easy walk to River Street and City Market. Room was clean, big and comfortable as was the bed. Loved that they had all day coffee and tea as well as cold water bottles and soda. Also a free drink in the bar and discount at restaurant. Parking was also free. Definitely a great place to stay in Savannah.
