Dare I say the best steak in Savannah? This was our second time at Cha Bella. We are from out of town, but had to come back on our next visit. We tried the steak (prepared w/ balsamic caramelized onions & bruleed gorgonzola) for a second time, it was just as incredible as previously. We also shared the Grouper (w/ spinach & leeks & a lemon-dill white wine cream). It tasted SO fresh and buttery. We also split a side of squash & carrots (w/ goat cheese cream, garlic hot honey, toasted spices pine nuts, & mint) - honestly phenomenal. All of it. I also had 2 glasses of the Malbec, which I recommend. Service was fantastic. Atmosphere is cozy with fresh flowers and vibey music. You need to go here. This restaurant deserves 5 stars ✨

Aug 3, 2026 · Google ReviewWhat a gem of a restaurant. I found it on Yelp weeks in advance of our trip to Savannah and I'm so glad it came up. The farm to table was obvious with the fresh ingredients and unique menu. We started off with the hummus & chips- I know what you're thinking, chips? Yes, the most delicious compliment to the flavorful hummus with fresh herbs. For our main dish, we shared the 20oz ribeye with sides of string beans and whipped potatoes. The steak was prepared to perfection and the whipped potatoes were great. I'd skip the string beans next time. Service was great and the Christmas decorations made our dinner extra special. We fell in love with the city of Savannah and plan to return to Cha Bella the next time were in town!
Jul 23, 2026 · Google ReviewA decent spot for date night. I really appreciated how fresh everything was, and the flavors were good overall, though it seemed like the kitchen may have been having an off night. We started with the grilled Caesar and the house-made focaccia served with whipped ricotta and olive tapenade. Unfortunately, there was an olive pit in the tapenade which was discovered after biting into it accidentally, which was disappointing. That said, the grilled Caesar was the standout dish of the evening and my favorite part of the meal. Before my puttanesca arrived, I was also given a dirty spoon, which wasn't a great first impression. My husband's risotto was slightly undercooked, but it still had a rich, enjoyable flavor. Overall, there were a few service and execution issues during our visit, but the quality of the ingredients and the potential of the food stood out. We'd be willing to give it another try and hope our next experience is better.
Jul 11, 2026 · Google ReviewWell it started with a cocktail at the bar! Josh and Ty made us feel right at home! And the bourbon Old Fashioned was mixed to perfection. Josh made my wife feel comfortable with the wine she chose. Then a few tastes of their mixology was offered to us and we accepted! Delicious concoctions, one being the Hop Into Spring! We snacked on the focaccia with ricotta .. the ricotta was like eating fluffy air! As we moved to our table, I'm upset as our waiter's name escapes me (Id certainly remember him for the next time we go!), offered us some recommendations and his favs. I chose the buccatini Puttanesca with clams and shrimp. Perfectly cooked pasta and portion size. My wife had the "Hog Chop" cooked and seasoned to perfection with a dijon bourbon cream sauce. And these lemony potatoes that were ridiculous! All in all an excellent experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we exited. One of those where you shake hands with everyone before you leave. This goes into one of my top dining experiences.
Jun 23, 2026 · Google ReviewThe filet is beautiful. The combination of flavors is perfection, especially if you love Gorgonzola. I have celiac disease and I’m very sensitive to cross contamination. No skin reaction or stomach symptoms whatsoever for me. Excellent restaurant if you require a gluten free meal.
