We have stayed here a number of times over the years. The rooms look a little dated now but are clean and comfy. Great service and staff is able to swiftly help when needed or correct any errors in room charges. Lovely outdoor area with easy access to the ferry. A great improvement would be a covered waiting area for guests waiting on the ferry.

My stay at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa was a mixed experience. The strongest aspect of this hotel is definitely its location. The views of the Savannah River are beautiful, and the convenient ferry access to Historic Downtown Savannah makes it an excellent base for exploring the city. The setting is peaceful and scenic, especially in the evening. However, several details prevented the stay from meeting my expectations. The pillows and mattress were not as comfortable as expected for a hotel of this category, which affected the overall quality of rest. I also felt that the level of courtesy and attentiveness from the staff was inconsistent throughout my stay. Additionally, I experienced issues with the whirlpool facilities, which was disappointing since relaxation amenities are one of the reasons many guests choose this property. While the location and river views are excellent, I believe improvements in guest comfort, service consistency, and facility maintenance would significantly enhance the overall experience. Overall, a hotel with a fantastic location and beautiful views, but with several areas that need attention to fully justify its reputation and price point.

It was great staying at the Westin, but the rooms need some work. First of all, they were very cramped. The bed size was maybe a full and the bathroom was tiny. It would be nice if there was a standing shower in the bathroom instead of a tub shower combo. It was very annoying how there were only a few streaming apps available on the TVs and that you couldn’t stream from your phone. The views from the rooms were excellent, especially when a massive cargo ship came through the river. The pool was very nice with great views too. The pop up shops in the lobby made the experience even better. Most of the restaurants were good except Aqua Star which was nasty 🤮. The golf course was nice, but the mosquitos were bad. It was nice how you can take a ferry to downtown Savannah. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but it was understaffed, so it took a long time to request your car and get food.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Westin Savannah Resort. It is an easy 5 stars for our family. Traveling with a young child can be hit or miss, but this place really delivered. It is incredibly quiet and relaxing, which made it feel like a true escape while still being very kid friendly. One of the highlights for us was the little touches. They gave us s’mores to enjoy by the fire pit, which felt like such a special and memorable experience. Our child absolutely loved it. Another big win is the Starbucks right in the lobby, which made mornings so much easier. The ferry over to River Street was also a huge hit. It turned getting into the city into a fun adventure instead of a hassle. Our kid was genuinely thrilled every time we rode it. Overall, this resort strikes the perfect balance between peaceful and family friendly. We will definitely be back.
