Aug 1, 2026 · Google ReviewThis was one of my favorite stops in Savannah. The beautiful live oaks, historic monuments, and peaceful atmosphere make it a great place to slow down and take in the city's charm. I especially enjoyed learning about its ties to Savannah's Irish heritage, as the park was renamed in 1902 to honor Irish patriot Robert Emmet and has long been a gathering place for the local Irish community. It's a wonderful blend of history, scenic beauty, and Southern character that's well worth a visit.
