This was a very memorable experience and was the highlight of my trip to Savannah this year. I especially appreciated the GG Allin exhibit which prohibited photos. The Homer Tate shrunken heads and conjoined animals were cool. I don't get uncomfortable easily but I could feel the heaviness in the Ed Gene exhibit and the Aileen Wuornos remains display. Also, the John Wayne Gacey exhibit was pretty heavy. I liked the way they did the Heaven's Gate exhibit to feel like you're inside a classroom/spaceship. All kinds of random weird stuff that I didn't have the extra time to look at. It's definitely worth a visit. The staff were super knowledgeable and friendly. The location is perfect on Factors Walk. Also loved the vintage records and tshirts for sale. Loved the vintage freakshow memorabilia also!
Jun 8, 2026 · Google ReviewIf you enjoy something different and off the beaten path, Graveface Museum is for you. The collection is eclectic and large. The tour guides are excellent; I highly suggest taking part in the tours. The employees are knowledgeable and very friendly. I just with the gift shop offered more. Go check out the macabre, the weird, the interesting.
Apr 7, 2026 · Google ReviewWe visited a few years ago and I never left a review 🤦🏻♀️ back in the area again and was reminded of our experience! We had an awesome time! Also got to meet the owner (I’m pretty sure? It was quite a while ago so I don’t remember) who was very nice, informative, and is actually from very close to where we live! I love those small world moments. The efforts they are going through to figure more out about Gacy’s victims is great…can’t wait for the docuseries one day! Also super happy they made a Chicago location since I’m from IL, haven’t gotten the chance to make it there yet though.
May 13, 2026 · Google ReviewThis museum was super cool. I went in knowing nothing and was so surprised to see how many original artifacts they had. This has to be the largest collection of serial killer documents, pictures, and paintings I have ever seen. The taxidermy section of the museum was my favorite part and I really liked seeing the 5 legged cow and the shrunken heads. Pinball is free to play after entry, but only a few of the machines worked. It’s a small building but it’s packed tight with stuff from floor to ceiling, you could easily spend a few hours here. If you are in town this is definitely a place you should hit. The staff were great but Isi was my standout. She made my group feel very welcomed, and you could tell she was passionate about everything. I asked her many questions and she had intricate answers to everything I asked.
Dec 19, 2025 · Google ReviewGreat museum! Lots of information, authentic artifacts, and knowledgable docents. I would plan to spend a couple hours there, there is a lot to look at. I have been to a lot of oddities/occult attractions where there is 0 information, provenance, or a lot of tall tales (which is super frustrating for intriguing objects). So nice that this was the opposite!! I liked the Heaven’s Gate exhibit, the roadside attractions, and hearing the mythbusting about Ed Gein & Gacy misinformation. They also had an extensive collection of artwork by John Gacy, and a lot of current research about the case. Incredible collection of things you will literally only see there.
