We stayed at the Renwick Suite and it was great. Its quiet, private and we loved having our own kitchen. Being able to park a few steps from where you're staying is also a great boon. Would highly recommend the Galloway House Inn.

Jun 7, 2026 · Google ReviewMy husband and I recently stayed at Galloway House Inn for 4 nights for our joint birthdays. We were in the Renwick Suite, which was very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable with all the amenities of home. Keith, one of the Inn Keepers was very helpful in answering questions and giving suggestions as to restaurants nearby. A couple that we very much enjoyed were Green Truck Pub and Foxy Loxy Cafe. Both have great outdoor seating! All made for a very enjoyable 1st time to Savannah!
Apr 28, 2026 · Google ReviewWe had a lovely time staying at the Galloway House! It was really nice to be near the downtown, but not staying directly in the downtown (as we had last visit). There was plenty of on street parking which I appreciated and free, plus it was awesome to be in an historic neighborhood and in this absolutely stunning house! I will say downtown is walkable, about 30 to 40 minutes, and there is plenty of interesting stuff around the neighborhood like great coffee, a fantastic Chinese restaurant and a crepe restaurant that stayed open until 10 so you can find what you need closer to home, so to speak, if you don't feel like a longer walk. We drove to the downtown, but we really had a lot packed into 2.5 days so it was easier to park for an hour or two and then be on our way versus walking 40 minutes each way.||We stayed in the Turner Loft and it was an awesome space. It came with a complete kitchen that was stocked, along with a washer and dryer. I absolutely adored the stain glass in the book nook. Such a nice touch, and felt like it belonged with the building. The loft is up several flights of outside stairs, however, we always felt safe as lights we go on as we went up and the view was so nice. We never heard our neighbors, and we all shared a really nicely kept courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was fantastic - like someone knew the perfect sleeping temp for us! You have to look around the loft, there's a lot of fun decorations and things about the history of Savannah.||The host/owner was so nice. He texted me and kept me updated about when we could enter (which was much appreciated - we had plans to go to Hilton Head first anyway but I think if you needed to get in earlier than 4 then he would have totally helped us out with an early arrival). We spoke with him a few times as we met in the courtyard and had we been there longer I think we would have definitely asked for more recommendations (the coffee place a block away was perfection that he pointed out!). It was a very peaceful, but too short, visit and I would love to stay in the house again. I even got to pet a friendly cat that was hanging around the building, which is always a plus for me when on vacation!
Apr 22, 2026 · Google ReviewWe stayed at the Galloway House Inn for four days over the Easter holiday, and it was a lovely experience from the beginning to end. Our host, Jim, was accessible throughout our whole stay, and he provided us with loads of information about what was nearby in the neighborhood. The room was clean and well appointed. It was a whole floor suite, and it went beyond all my expectations! I can definitely see myself returning to the Galloway House Inn on my next trip to the magical city that is Savannah, GA.
Apr 7, 2026 · Google ReviewWonderful, quaint, clean, amazing place! We really enjoyed our stay. The garden area leading to the rooms reminds me of the movie "The Secret Garden". So cute and well cared for!!! Thank you, Keith and Jim!!
Mar 23, 2026 · Google ReviewMy husband and I stayed at the Galloway House in the Renwick Suite - the second floor of the carriage house (external stairs). It was just a perfect stay. The 'mini apartment' was beautifully furnished, including coffee and water, for which we were very grateful. The bed was extremely comfortable (King Size), and all of the linens were soft and smelled amazing (like the very best clean laundry). The location had free parking, which I imagine is more of an issue when the tourist season amps up. It was a great 'home base' from which to explore Savannah (and Tybee Island). It was very private and quiet. I would gladly have stayed for longer - alas, we had to go home! The hosts are very responsive to any questions, and are as available as you would like them to be. I would happily return to Galloway House to explore more of beautiful Savannah.
