We loved our lunch at Alexander’s Bistro! The corned beef was one of the best sandwiches my husband’s ever had. The whole sandwich melts in your mouth. Don’t think twice. Get it if you love a corned beef sandwich. They had a good assortment of beers as well. Our son loved the Mac and cheese. Service was wonderful and the waitress/front of house staff took care of everything. The jalapeño bacon is delicious too! We went for breakfast the next day so my husband could get the steak-and-eggs dish. He loved it! My son loved the bread and eggs on my slow egg scramble. Will miss this place and so glad we stopped by.
May 1, 2026 · Google ReviewThis place was an an unexpected find as we were walking to Forsyth Park in Savannah. We visited on Easter Sunday morning (4/5/2026) and ordered from the Sunday brunch menu. It wasn't busy at all but it took a bit for the food to come out. I ordered the steak and eggs with fried potatoes and spinach salad which was ok, nothing to come back and order again. The steak was was slightly overcooked. I honestly couldn't tell how they cooked the eggs, it was a porous spongy texture I wasn't familiar with. They were definitely edible though. The spinach salad was unwilted spinach leaves mixed with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were nice and crispy, but also greasy. Everything on my plate needed a bit of seasoning but it wasn't anything that the salt and pepper couldn't fix. My orange juice was actually the star of my breakfast. They use Natalie's brand orange juice and it's my favorite brand! My husband ordered the Toasted French Baguette and really enjoyed it. It was filled with sausage, bacon, mushrooms, and topped with two fried eggs. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was clean, pleasant, and filled with local art on the walls which was for sale. I would definitely go back for the friendly staff, the artwork, and to try something else on the Sunday brunch menu.
Apr 7, 2026 · Google ReviewThe corned beef sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever eaten and I'm not just saying that. It was so good I got mad when I got full. So good I'm mad I'm a tourist and I can't come here all the time. Not to mention the staff are all lovely. Anyway, go here for lunch, IT'S AMAZING
May 27, 2026 · Google ReviewDining with Dirk: Sunday Edition After my morning trek, hunger set in, and I finally decided to stop at Alexander’s Bistro—a place I’ve passed countless times but never stepped inside. Turns out, I’d been missing out. Nicole greeted me the moment I walked in, and her warm, welcoming presence immediately set the tone for the experience. I ordered a self-serve black coffee and the Slow Start Scramble. The sandwich was cooked fresh, which meant waiting an extra couple of minutes—but that was quickly forgotten once it arrived. The cheesy eggs were creamy and perfectly cooked, while the toppings added perfect mix of texture and flavor. Nicole, along with another young lady whose name I didn’t catch, truly set the standard for hospitality. Friendly, attentive, and genuine—exactly how dining out should feel.
Jan 11, 2026 · Google ReviewReally dropping this review for one reason only….well maybe two; French Fries!!! It was a side on the delicious chicken salad sandwich but they are the best fries 6/7 of the people at our table have ever eaten. Skin on, seasoned and cooked just right. Awesome. The breakfast burrito was also perfect. Finally, the owners are apparently grunge fans as Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam floating thru the place made me feel right at home. A great place to drop in after a long walk thru the beautiful Forsyth Park.
