Great hidden gem in Savannah. I ordered a small portion (~$25) and the box was overflowing — amazing value. The shrimp were super fresh and perfectly cooked. While I was waiting, the owner gave me a bunch of samples (shrimp, half a blue crab, even sides), which made the whole experience really memorable. He told me he’s been here since 1992, and you can tell he takes pride in the food. The low country boil was flavorful, especially the cut potatoes and corn that soaked everything up. No dine-in, very local vibe — but absolutely worth it. I’d definitely come back.

I passed by Savannah and decided to give David’s a try. It’s so DAMN GOOD! Best taste boil in the US! Say the magic word and you get a generous sample taste. The Kdot crab and mussels are extremely good. We ordered small lowcountry boil and it’s very filling for two ppl. The potatoes are cut into chunks so they’re seasoned well. The whole boil is crab flavored. It cured my broken heart from some “popular fancy restaurant” in historic area. I would definitely go back to David when if I travel back here in the future.

Take out only. The garlic crab was amazing. super fresh, meaty, and full of flavor. The crawfish and conch were just as good, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everything tasted really fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend if you love seafood that’s done right.
