The experience we had this week was stupendous and ultimately inspiring. Our English Dinner class introduced my partner and I to new tastes and new found confidence in our passion to cook for ourselves and loved ones. Connections made with classmates was brilliantly bridged by the common passion of cooking established by Chef Darin and his team. Fine wines, fine foods, and fine conversations is a recipe for success and I will remember this moment of the shared table experience for years to come with the hope I will return for classes. This was the perfect experience to share for a romantic night out, an exploration of new career shift possibilities, and a build up in confidence to elevate your passion for cooking and baking. Its also a space to introduce yourself to top level cooking utensils and tools.
Jan 1, 2026 · Google ReviewA group of friends and I attended the casual summer entertaining class, and we had a blast! Chef Darin is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and helpful. I do have celiac, everything on this specific menu was confirmed gluten free for me except the dessert which stayed up at the front work station. It was great knowing everything I was working with was safe. I learned many new things and look forward to booking another class!
Jul 4, 2026 · Google ReviewHighly recommend. My husband and I were gifted a class. We are not Michelin level cooks or eaters, but Chef Darin and his staff made us feel that way. A great afternon of learning, eating and making new friends.
Jun 8, 2026 · Google ReviewI attended the class on 11/15/25 which focused on Autumn flavors. I have to say, it was the best Cooking Class I’ve ever been in!(& I’ve to many!) Chef Darin is professional, yet engaging & funny. The instructions included techniques to use in food prep that would maximize food flavor and texture in the recipe. The cooking stations were very well organized, and encouraged a fun social experience. We all got to sit down together and enjoy the meal we prepared at the end. The food was delicious too!! I’m going to make several of the recipes for Thanksgiving. I will definitely put Chef Darin’s classes as a “must do” on future trips to Savannah!!
Nov 21, 2025 · Google ReviewAt the heart of “Chef Darin’s Kitchen table,” an esteemed culinary school here in Savannah GA, Chef Darin loves to stand before a sea of eager faces teaching all of us something new in the kitchen. The aroma of spice and anticipation fill the air as the vibrant green walls clash playfully with the gleaming pots and pans. I chose to celebrate my birthday here by learning the art of fried chicken—a dish close to my Southern roots. The class was called: Low Country Fried Chicken Social. As Chef Darin began the class, he recounted tales of his grandmother Phyllis' "Long Haul" Coleslaw with Celery Seed Vinaigrette, a recipe he was proud to teach us. With her picture looking at us on the wall, he instilled in us not just the techniques and art of making recipes, but he taught us the history behind them, and the memories that flavor every meal. “Cooking is more than just following a recipe, it’s also about pouring your heart into every bite.” The kitchen stations throughout the night erupted in a symphony of sizzling oil and excited chatter as we made multiple dishes. I watched my classmates from the front of the class laughing and sharing kitchen gadgets, ones you can find in the store next door, where Chef Darin also sells line after line of unique kitchen items—everything from whimsical spatulas to a wall of flavored olive oil. By the time the class wrapped up, the enticing smell of fried chicken wafted through the room, inviting everyone to gather around a large table with plates laden with perfectly fried chicken and all the sides we made, including pie! You can just close your eyes and savor the moment of our hands on experience as we all enjoyed the fruits of our labor. Surrounded by my new friends and the warmth of camaraderie, I can’t help but feel that this birthday was something truly special—one cooked with love and laughter, all thanks to Chef Darin and the magic of the kitchen. 10/10 I highly recommend taking a class and shopping the store!
