If you split a restaurant into its two businesses - front and back - then this review makes sense. The food and flavors coming out of the kitchen are absolutely some of the best we've had in Savannah. The Heirloom Tomatoes were so good we needed extra bread to clean the plate. Both main dishes were top tier with layers of flavors that you don't find in many restaurants outside of a major city. The only downside was what appeared to be a training issue. The server had a very warm and friendly attitude but we had to repeatedly ask for silverware with the dishes because the server didn't realize that we didn't have any. The place wasn't that busy so it just seemed like something that was not on her radar to mentally check when she brought the plates to the table. Again, a simple training fix would address that but it seemed out of sync with the otherwise wonderful food and decor.

In a sea of flashy hotspots, Local 11ten shines brightly for 19 years. Savannah has had a huge boom of new restaurants in the last five to ten years. It’s fun to try trendy new places but I’ve been increasingly disappointed in the quality of the food and the experience at many of these up and comers. Just recently my husband and I went to a new high end restaurant downtown and were so underwhelmed by the service and the appetizers that we asked for the check before ordering our entrees. We immediately headed to Local 11ten because we knew that we could get an amazing meal and great service, plus they have an awesome wine list and cocktail menu. We have been lucky to dine many times at Local since they opened back in 2007 and have never once been disappointed. Whether it’s a special occasion, or if you just want to grab a seat at the bar or upstairs at Perch, Local 11ten is an undeniable mainstay for high-end dining in Savannah. 10/10 recommend!

The service is great, and they are very accommodating! I love the appetizers that I've had, but the coconut curry shrimp is bland, over-priced and disappointing. You're better off paying less than half the price at one of the local Asian restaurants for this particular entree. Friends really liked the mussels on multiple visits, and enjoyed the included bread. A friend had the schnitzel special and was very disappointed with that as well. Stick with the mussels or another entree. Or better yet, just share a bunch of appetizers.

Best food in town! My fave place to chill at the bar for a drink and get some snacks before a night out! The staff is incredible. The servers are very attentive, kind, and charismatic. Feels like dinner with family. I've been to a lot of the best restaurants in Savannah and have seen how many of them are run behind the scenes, Local is one of the most well managed restaurants in town! This place is quickly going from hidden gem to top of everyone's must visit in Savannah list!

I can't say enough positives about this place. Over our 4 day stay we went twice it was that good. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are perfect. The espresso martini is unmatched, and the steak is not an item you can skip, worth every penny!
