I’m in town for work and staying in Savannah’s Historic District. While searching for the best places to eat, I came across this restaurant, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. The food was an easy 10/10. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Every dish was prepared perfectly. My server was outstanding friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations and ensured everything came out exactly as it should. If you're visiting Savannah's Historic District, I highly recommend stopping here. I would absolutely eat here again the next time I'm in town.

Really cool, historic place to have lunch. We started with the green fried tomatoes and they were excellent. I then had the Rueben sandwich and it was stacked with lots of meat and was very good. The potato salad served with it was also excellent and a nice change from fries. My husband had the Cajun tortellini and it was delicious with plenty of shrimp and scallops and just the right amount of spice; although he said it could have been a bit spicier. Connie was our server and she was very friendly and attentive! If you are using the Hop on Hop off trolley, there is a free appetizer coupon in their booklet! Note 3% fee added for credit card.

The food was amazing. The tortellini was really flavorful, the battered fries were cooked perfectly, and the pulled pork sandwich had a great balance of coleslaw and pork without either overpowering the other. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Would definitely recommend eating here.

While visiting from NC & with 3 restaurants we were choosing between - we’re so glad this one made the cut! Great service from the time we walked in until we left. Our waitress was amazing, prompt and efficient. She never let our drinks get below half. We started our Mother’s Day lunch off with the beer cheese & bread and mannnn did that not disappoint! My daughter chose the catfish which was cooked to perfection. Husband chose the French dip - he said the au jus complimented it very well. The meat was a decent size portion. I had the shrimp & grits - simply delicious, full of flavor! No grit was left untouched with flavor! 10/10 - we would visit here again!

Was there 4 days ago before taking a ride on the Savannah river. Not too busy when we came. Does look like a tavern on the inside with a bar like from the tv show "Cheers" in the middle We sat at a booth since we don't drink Good service Had 3 tvs on the wall Food was great. One person with me got their onion rings. Fresh and well cooked. I loved the seafood salad sandwich. Their fish is fresh from the savannah river
