Ever wanted to see where the founder of the Girl Scouts lived? The staff was super nice! I think honestly it was the guest interaction piece that I am grading. The house is beautiful. It has been restored. The Girl Scouts founder does not have your atypical experience. You’ll be surprised to learn about the trials and tribulations, especially of her marriage. One story that you probably won’t hear: The ghost story of Nelly and Will (William) Gordon is one of Savannah's most romantic and famous paranormal legends. It centers on the couple's deep devotion to one another, culminating in a deathbed reunion where Will’s spirit allegedly returned to escort his dying wife into the afterlife.

Every Girl Scout needs to make the pilgrimage to the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace! It’s where the Girl Scouts of America was born! Wonderful classic home with period correct artifacts. Many of Juliette’s own artifacts. There is a small gift shop at the end. I thought it would be bigger and I thought they would have cookies. You should buy your tickets in advance. Timed tickets can be purchased on line. I highly recommend getting them a day or two in advance.

It was awesome to be in Juliette Gordon Low's home. I would definitely suggest the tour guided tour. I knew a lot about her, but learned several new things as well. You get to see how the home looked when she lived there. I have mobility issues, so I was happy that they had an elevator to take me to the upper floors.
