Margarita McGrattanThe new management and staff at Hillcrest Abbey East the past 18 months have been such a breath of fresh air! They are respectful, responsive, caring, competent and follow through on all commitments. My family's plots have never looked more beautiful. I always see the grounds crew out working when I am tending graves and someone always comes over to ask me if I want them to weed whack and leaf blow around my plots. I am grateful for this amazing turn around at the cemetery and I am confident that my ancestors' graves, and mine one day, will continue to be well taken care of.

Mark HI would like to give the ground crew 5 stars. I was out there yesterday and immediately 2 of the crew came up to assist me in anything I needed. I had planned on weedeating just because it’s something we do. My weedeater flooded and they said they would take care of everything. Came back today to put flowers out and the markers were immaculate. One side had been sinking a bit and they went ahead and lifted it up from yesterday. I only got one of their names which was Antonio. I tip my hat to all of you. Much appreciated.

Rudy HHillcrest Abbey East is under new management and working hard to repair markers, monuments, facilities, and grounds; it may take years to overcome the neglect and incompetence of prior mismanagement, but Mr. Kirby Pulliam and his team are committed to the task. The new office building is an improvement from the cramped warehouse used since 2016 when Hurricane Matthew destroyed the quaint vintage cottage used as the cemetery office for many decades. For the first time in years, the grounds are neatly mowed and inviting. Antonio, Charles, and Marvin are the friendly and hardworking crew who really seem to care about making Hillcrest a peaceful and beautiful cemetery again. My husband, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends are buried there, and I'm thankful that they are again getting the respect they deserve.

Andrew SmithThis afternoon, 11/25/25, I visited Hillcrest Abbey East. I have family members buried there and wanted to stop in pay my respects. I do this often and had never had the experience I had today. I was stopped by 2 members of staff, Antwon and Marvin. Antwon was mowing and came by to clean off my family's tombstone and gravestones. It was awesome. In my head, I heard my G-ma say, "if you'd have come sooner, it would have been done sooner" and it brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. It was a pleasure to be reminded in such a funny way of the family that is no longer here. Marvin let me know that they were here for the families and to let them know anytime I need something, including the cleaning of the grave site. Thank you, gentlemen, for a great addition to my Thanksgiving week.
