Wayne, the owner, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about tea. We had a wonderful conversation about the health benefits of tea, the importance of local businesses maintaining integrity in their products and services, and his personal journey of sourcing high-quality ingredients for his custom blends. You can tell that every tea is thoughtfully crafted with care. We were also warmly greeted by Brady, whose enthusiasm for learning about tea was contagious. He shared some of his favorite brews and made us feel right at home. This is so much more than a tea shop—it's a place where you can slow down, have meaningful conversations, and enjoy truly outstanding tea. If you're in Savannah, this is an absolute must-visit. I'll definitely be back soon!

TC YarmanA quick weekend trip to Savannah, GA. I have a slight tea obsession, so I had to check out Ashford Tea Company. It is a cute little spot to grab some tea to go or sit, sip and relax to the tranquil vibe. Wayne is the owner and is passionate about his teas. He is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I have never seen a purple tea and he educated me on extensive research taken to produce this tea in Kenya. Bonus, online shopping available.

MerethAs a tea lover, this tea shop is an absolute dream! It’s a calm space, beautifully organized, and brilliantly provides the opportunity to smell the teas before buying. We got the chance to have a nice long chat with the owner who is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about tea - the perfect combination. While we didn’t take advantage of it, he mentioned he could brew up a taster if there was a variety that we wanted to try before buying. The tea itself is some of the highest quality - specially blended, with varieties and flavor combinations that are amazing. The Pu’Erh Chai is remarkable and is a tea variety that I'd never come across before. We spent far too much in this shop with absolutely NO regrets! I'll definitely be order from them online until I can visit them again in person.

Nikita BrownI went to Ashford Tea Company after seeing his business referenced online. After engaging in a conversation with Wayne, I left the shop knowing more about how and why caffeine reacts differently in the body depending on whether you drink tea or coffee. I'll say, I walked into his shop as a coffee drinker and left as a tea drinker. I appreciate the insight. Brady is great too! He's very friendly, we had a nice chat as he showed us around the shop. Looking forward to our return visit.

Jamie RosnerAshford Tea Company was an incredible experience. Wayne was so welcoming and knowledgeable, and he taught us so much about tea while also sharing meaningful insight and wisdom about life. The vibes were immaculate and the tea was phenomenal—even for someone like me who isn’t really a tea person. Truthfully, I was dragged here by my girlfriend who just wanted to grab a tea and continue our day. Instead, we ended up staying, talking, learning, and experiencing something far beyond what we expected. We left with so much more than just tea—we left with a new perspective on life. I highly recommend stopping by whether you’re a tea lover or someone who normally wouldn’t think twice about tea. This place is special!
