A beautiful historic theater that produces plays, has a pipe organ day, and shows older movies. It's such a beautiful piece of architecture that you should take s your and learn about. Stop in and enjoy a croissant and coffee in their friendly coffee shop!

Beautiful restoration of this historic theater. No detail left out. The Wurlitzer organ is amazing and fills the theater. Staff is incredible. A must experience.

The Lucas Theatre is one of Savannah’s great old entertainment landmarks, opened in 1921 by Savannah native and theater impresario Arthur Lucas as a grand “amusement palace” for movies, vaudeville, and live performance. Its glowing marquee and ornate design still capture the glamour of early 20th-century downtown Savannah, when a night at the theater was a true event. After decades of use, decline, and near loss, the Lucas was carefully restored and reopened in 2000, returning as a beloved performing arts venue and one of the city’s most photogenic historic treasures.

First time here for an Easter church service and had an awesome time. The theater itself is spectacular, and the (Wurlitzer?) organ was impressive! Definitely need to come back for more events.
